Excerpt:

Standing in front of the mirror in nothing but a towel, I stare at my reflection. My mind jumps back and forth with indecision. What should I wear? Should I go to the barbeque or not? I’ve always longed to be invited to something like this, but fear has me wanting to crawl into bed and sleep until Monday. Maybe I should just forget about the offer. Why would he invite me anyway?

My thoughts are scattered as my cell rings in the quiet of my home, making me jump. Luther, my cat, gives me the side eye from his spot in the center of my bed as I stare at the screen without answering.

Dax.

His name flashes across the screen. Taking a deep breath, I answer before it can stop ringing.

“Hello?” it comes out as a question even though that isn’t what I intended.

“Hey, pretty girl,” his husky voice caresses my ear.

I don’t reply. Hell, I’m not even sure I’m breathing.

“Blair?” he asks. “Are you there?”

“Yes,” I say in a whisper.

“What’s wrong?” he asks sounding concerned.

“Um.”

“Maybe I can help,” Dax replies and I know he is only trying to be supportive.

“I don’t know what to wear,” I reply. Because apparently, I’ve made up my mind in the last twenty seconds and I will be going to the barbeque.

“Well, that’s easy,” he chuckles. “What are you wearing now? I’m sure it will be perfect.”

“A towel,” I blurt out. My cheeks instantly flame in embarrassment. I do not know how to do any of this, especially not with him.

“Fuck,” Dax says lowly.

I hear a scuffle in the background before a new voice speaks into my ear.

“Hi, Blair. It’s Holden. Just wear whatever you’re comfortable in. It’s just a couple of friends having a beer or two so no need to dress up.”

“Okay,” I croak out.

In a world that is defined by fertility not being fertile means your future is uncertain. For Blair she has always felt like an outsider and not being fertile sealed her belief that she would never get a partner or family. Dax, Holden and Ford are a couple years older than Blair and have been in love with Blair for years. While they were away in the military they planned to return and claim her as their partner. This super short novella is a quick read full of heart, spice and a super sweet HEA

I loved reading Book 3 of The Partners.I love the characters in this story. Very entertaining, spicy. intense. a page turner. Well written. I highly recommend. This author does not disappoint and can't wait to see what she writes next.

Fast , quick read, full of drama for all the characters. Blair is a girl at 16 who is told she can't have a baby as the government refused to have her be a special partner. Seven years later Dax, Ford and Holden show up in her bookstore and invite her to their B-B-Que at their home. They had been away at war for the government. It's there that they tell her that they have always wanted her then and now. They want her to be their family. To share and share alike. And what a big surprise there is at the end. Would recommend .

It was a short read, but it sure is hot and steamy. In between the hot scenes, there is a plot. It's a reverse harem in a different world and they were given a gift at the end.

I loved reading The Partner Quandary by Jade Marshall.Dax, Holder and Ford are fighting a war they wished would end so they can get back to the girl they secretly love. Blair is happy with her life as best she can be. She believes and has accepted she will always be alone until the three men she has always loved come back and want her. They navigate the ups and downs of being in a relationship with each other.

Blair grew up in a small town and went to high school with three boys who were a few years older than her. She did not talk to them but was attracted to them and daydreamed of a future together. When she was 16 she was taken to the proving center and it was determined that she was not fertile. She could take a partner but there would be no chance for them to have children. The boys from high school, Dax, Ford, and Holden left their small town to join the military and fight in the war. When her mother passed away, Blair used the funds she received to open a bookstore. She put all of her energy into establishing her business. Fast forward seven years and the guys are back in town and ready to claim Blair as their own. This was a quick and enjoyable read.

I really enjoy how sweet was everything. Of course everybody loves each other and they didn't let her know, but she was secretly pinning for them. And how wonderfully that againt all odds, they were able to conceive.

Blair has been in love with Dax, Ford, and Holden since she was a teenager. But they never noticed her. After high school the boys joined the service. Years later they are back and have just invited Blair to their house for a party. Have they got a surprise for her. Steamy menage.

A really steamy quick read. This book is super spicy reverse harem--heroine is living with the knowledge that she can't give a partner(s) what they want from early age and although she has feelings it is quite hard to overcome the feelings she has at not being able to provide kids. See how they turn her world around.

A hot and steamy short story. Blair lives in a small town and learned at age sixteen that she was infertile. She continued her life as usual knowing that she would not have kids or a spouse. Most men wanted children. She did have a crush on Holden, Dax, and Ford in school and they left for the military after graduation. After seven year they return home. They are ready to settle down and they hope its with Blair.

In a world where being fertile is all important, Blair never expect to have the men she fell in love with in high school. Little did she know that Dax, Ford and Holden feel the same for her. When they return to town from a war, they are ready to claim her. The story is about the men finally laying claim to Blair. There is a surprise ending that was nice.

Part of The Partners series each can be read as a standalone reverse harem. Blair is sweet more on the shy side has always done what was expected of her tested when she was sixteen deemed infertile so she finished school crushed on the three guys who paid her no attention living just her and her mom until she passed away leaving her to live alone opening a library which she enjoys but she knows something is missing but she doesn’t want anyone but her dream guys. Dax, Ford, and Holden sexy as all get out three military men deemed low percent in the fertility department arranged with the government to accept the one girl they stayed away from joined the war because she was too young for them so they know she needed to grow up, they needed to grow up so they joined the war, and they are home now to claim their girl knowing they will have to take it slow considering she the one for them and they are the ones for her. They magnetic pull is there but can they convince her it is real will she give them a chance; will they prove to her that it has been her all along, was the government administered fertility test correct, will they never have a family, and is there happiness somewhere along the way for them?

I do not usually like reverse harem stories but I loved this one. It is a very quick read but an interesting story. On top of this being a reverse harem it is also a somewhat of a dystopian story. The heroine of the story thinks she is alone and no one loves her. She finds out that the 3 guys from high school that she had a crush on actually felt the same for her. It all comes together in the last 2 or3 chapters of the book.

They have secretly loved her for years but know that since they were enlisting that they did not want to act on those feelings. Now they are back and have the go ahead to partner with her, that is if she wants them.
