One of my first memories as a child is my beloved Uncle Roy giving me a Little Golden book for my Birthday. That's all it took, I was hooked on reading. I read my first romance book at seventeen and I have never looked back. I love a character with a sense of humor and a bad boy who doesn't know how good he really is. As a matter of fact I married one! I love writing strong female characters who know what they want and aren't afraid to go after it. I enjoy getting to share the characters in my head with others. I aspire to write bad boys as well as Anne Stuart, whose Ice Series is one of my all-time favorites.
I'm a widow now and I share my Tennessee home with a hundred Barbies, countless books and movies, a rescued beagle named Samwise Gamgee (Sammie for short) and a plump, elderly cat named Coco. I am most proud of my two sons and the beautiful, talented ladies they married.
And in case you were wondering about that Little Golden book it is still one of my most priceless treasures...forty-seven years later.
