The bigger man from the neck down looked downright sexy. Muscular arms. Broad shoulders. When he dismounted from his bike his jeans hugged all the right places. When he finally took off his helmet, her eyebrows shot up.
Good Lord. It was as if Regé-Jean Page had a baby with Gerard Butler and that baby was, well, the most exquisite perfection of male ever created. That was how beautiful this man was. He had dirty-blond hair that brushed his shoulders. She couldn’t see his eye color but it hardly mattered. With just one look, Vivi was over writing a book about stupid penises, and the men they were attached to. Her one goal now was to escape this room and meet the father of her future children.
She hurried to the door and tried it, discovering it locked tighter than a nun’s vagina. Damn it! Viv ran back to make sure her baby-daddy was still there. A tied-up man was escorted outside, being jostled about. A man in a black suit opened the rear door of the van and the tied-up man was thrown into the back. Panicked, because she really didn’t want to lose Beautiful Man, she tried to open the window. When it didn’t budge, she looked closer and noticed nails sealing it shut. Her gaze landed on the uncomfortable wooden chair that Cross had given her so she had one more thing to sit on, which she never did because the hard seat hurt her ass. If the window wouldn’t open, she would simply have to create a new exit. Picking up the chair, she brought it over her head and flung it forward. The glass shattered. She quickly tossed the chair aside and carefully leaned out the open window to wave frantically.
“Yoo-hoo!” she yelled. Several pairs of eyes swung up to her. “Hey, Beautiful Man! Not you, the other one. Also not you, sorry if that hurts your feelings.” Beautiful Man pointed at himself. “Yes, you. Would you like to get married? I think our babies would be the most adorable little people in the world. Stay right there, I’m coming down!”
Frantically, she grabbed the blankets off her bed and draped them over the broken window so she wouldn’t cut herself. Then, carefully, she lowered herself out to dangle high over the ground.
Huh.
She clearly hadn’t thought this through.
“Beautiful Man! Can you help me?”
She literally jumped into his life. And from the start she told Linc they would be together. She stayed by his side from that point on. No matter what she stayed with him. Where he went she went. When a man from her paat came back to get her she still would not leave Lincoln. Once they said I l-word you they knew it was for life!
This book was great. The characters were charming, even the bad guys. Vivi in particular was charming and made me laugh out loud.
I loved reading this book. The MCs Vivi and Linc are so good together, with a playful banter which runs through the book with Vivi hardly able to stop talking. It is not all roses though with some rougher scenes, as yes it is about a MC club with mafia connections.
She was held hostage and when Lincoln showed up, she knew he was her forever man. Vivi is a unique individual as is Lincoln and together they bring calm and peace to each other. This story is filled with twists and turns that will have you all caught up in the drama waiting for the next mishap. Carter provides an experience where you feel like you are right there with the characters and can feel what they are experiencing.
Beth! This was amazing! Vivi was a freaking bundle of joy. I loved her. She was slightly crazy, honest and super sweet. I loved how she rambled. When she first sees Lincoln? LOL, hilarious. She was adorable. And Lincoln. ?? I loved him. He was surprised at his obsession with Vivi. But they were made for each other. Their chemistry was palpable. I loved them together. And their banter was so fun to read. I loved how she charmed even the toughest men. I loved getting to see her sister and her man again. Also to see Thorn and Chase. I love the supernatural part of it too. And that Linc and Vivi both have a gift. Give me more.
Motorcycle lovers magic and fighting. That could be one of best combinations out there. This book adds all of it together to make it a page turner I could not put down until I finished the entire thing. Ì want to reread this book at least one or two more times.
??? Lincoln and Vivi ???This is definitely a book that you should definitely read. I love this entire series but Vivi is so funny... A one of a kind character! Beth D. Carter does an outstanding job. Again every book in this series is a must read. This book will make you giggle and some parts laugh out loud. Great book!
I enjoyed the story of Linc and Vivi, they fit together perfectly. You're glued to your book and on the edge of your seat. Their story ends in a cliffhanger, if you don't like cliffhangers then this is not a book for you, but I recommend you read their story anyway, it is worth it. I can't wait for the next part to come.
What a great story that had me laughing a lot at the craziness of Vivi who knew that Linc was the man she needed in her life. Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t a laugh every minute book but it helped with some of the darkness the Death Riders MC was facing. Linc and Vivi were perfect for each other…even if Linc didn’t know it right away. It did end with a few questions so now I can’t wait to see what comes next in this series. Loved it.
Loved the chemistry between Lincoln and Vivi. Dialogue driven stories always give me the best sense of characters, and Vivi's ramblings were so cute. Now I need to go back and look at the other books in the series. I enjoyed this read.
This is the fourth book I've read written by Beth D. Carter; I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the fourth book in the Death Riders Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Vivi & Lincoln. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was a very entertaining read. The story flowed smoothly and written well. The couple had very romantic chemistry between them. There is loads of action and intrigue also.
Vivi is abducted from her home when her sister goes to identify her brother. She is held captive by the Heart of Darkness MC. Her quirky nature and ability to calm the Pres earns as stay without punishment. After three months she is more than ready to leave. She sees another club come to pickup someone, catches sight of Lincoln Rollison, that beautiful man is meant to be hers. She breaks the window to get attention and jumps out. She rides off on the back of his bike with him. Vivi completely disarms Lincoln, she makes him laugh and makes him feel something. I loved Vivi, she is absolutely adorable, follows a beat to her own drum. She says crazy things and everyone like her.
This is the fourth story in the "Death Riders MC" and is a very captivating and engrossing read. I was so excited to get this story! Although not necessary, I would suggest you read "The Mafia King's Siren" before this one. It is the third story in the "Death Riders MC" and is about Damon, who is mafia, and Zaylah Wence. The MC is brought into their story. This story is about Zaylah's sister Vivi and Linc. I absolutely loved this story with exception of the tragedy of what happened at the club. Vivi's energy and positive outlook is contagious. She fit Linc and her completely got her. I love the paranormal or special talents some of these characters have. I cannot wait for another one if this series...please tell me there will be a next one.

This is such a good book. Vivi is such an amazing character she makes everyone around her happier. And that is her super power. Linc has his own super powers and demons. They are so good together. It does have a cliffhanger that makes you ready gor the next book. So yes go read this series.
Can’t say enough about this book. I was hook from the minute I started reading. Great characters and the story line was superb. Grab this book you won’t regret reading this fantastic story.

Fantastic tale. I loved Vivi immediately and I laughed way more than I expected. She is an awesome chick. Linc is hers from the moment she spots him and he takes it all in stride. This was a super fun addition to the series. I can't wait to see what comes next.
Shadow Obsession is my intro to this new to me author and what a gem both the book and the author are. These characters are absolutely the best! In spite of the situation Vivi finds herself, and it's a pretty bad situation, she is hysterical. She marches to the beat of her own drum and is completely unapologetic. Then we have Lincoln, sexy, alpha beast that he is doesn't know what to think when he and Vivi encounter each other. What they do know though is that they both feel this unwavering pull to each other. Their journey is absolutely fantastic. It's as much of a journey for the reader as it is for the characters!
Vivi is being kept as a debt repayment with no chance for escape until she comes across Lincoln. The draw is instant between them but both hide something, can they escape and become one with the heated desires building between them? Well written engaging, steamy action insta hot loving romance
Such A Fun Steamy Read! I haven’t laughed or giggled as much whilst reading a book for ages but this is one serious but witty read! Vivi had her own problems but as soon as she saw her beautiful man, she just knew he would be the love of her life and she would have his babies! Lincoln didn’t know what had hit him when he met Vivi, he just knew the more he was in her company, the more he craved her! Both had secrets but were they willing to confess to each other? Vivi is one seriously scatty but clever person so don’t under estimate her while Lincoln is one dark sexy alpha male who would do anything to protect her. Enjoy their mad, fast journey into love with some action and lots of steam along the way! There is so much going on in this storyline I could go on for ages about how great it is but you just have to read it yourself to enjoy their journey.
Quite a good little story, however i couldnt give it the full five stars because it didnt quite grab me from the start and i didnt really couldnt help but want to stray from the book. But as i read more it became better so that was all good. Overall a good story
Imagine rays of Yellow & sprinkles of colour everywhere. That's what it felt like when Vivi comes into the picture. I ended up smiling & laughing so much. Linc together with Vivi only brought out smiles & the other side of misunderstood bikers. Absolutely adorable read.
I love Viv so much. She's just my type of crazy and funny as $hit. I laughed so much in this book. "I'm jumping, catch me??" Who does this. Oh her..... I had to finish this book as soon as possible to know what she would do next. I think it's the funnest book I've read lately. So in love
Held hostage until her sister comes up with enough money to pay back what their brother owed, Vivi, had to escape and that opportunity came when Linc came on separate run and she knew she couldn't let him go. Surprisingly, Vivi's bubble gum personality was endearing and not annoying. Linc brought a good balance to her positivity. It was pretty adorable.

Wow, It was my second time reading this author and really liked it. It was so easy to get into the story. I felt like actually listening to Vivi ramble and how Lincoln engage in the conversations! I love the chemistry between them! This is the 4th book in the series and I have to go back to read 2 and 3.
Vivi is super freaking adorable in all the best ways. I would so be her bff. And I absolutely loved her chemistry with Linc!! I have no read the other books in the series and I felt like that was totally ok but it she as H3!! made me want to go back and find them cause they sound so good!
