Road doesn’t trust anyone. He knows how quickly women can turn, and he knows Dinah has been sent by Sergey Golubev. Every time he looks in the mirror, he's reminded of the scars left by Golubev’s handywork.
From the moment Dinah Evans walked into the Evil Fallen Bratva MC clubhouse, she knew she had made a mistake. She does not work for Sergey, but she knows who he is. Several years ago, her mother rejected the man, and as punishment, she paid the price. She knows she should stay away from Road. But, every time he comes calling, she doesn’t turn him away. There is more to Road than meets the eye.
Dinah is the first woman that doesn’t flinch away from him. She’s not repulsed by his scars, and Road loves being around her. But, she doesn’t know the truth. It's only a matter of time before it comes out. All of those years ago, he was the one who made the order on her mother. He was doing his job, and now, he has to keep that from her.
Golubev is closing in. He's dangerous, and Road has to make a choice, one that could change their lives forever.

“I’ve got a job to do, and a kid, he or she, doesn’t need to grow up with a father on a mission to make this world safer.”
There was silence and he watched her as she lifted her head and looked at him.
“You’re talking about Sergey Golubev,” she said.
“Yes.”
“You plan to kill him?”
“Yes.”
“You’re not even worried that I’ll go to the police?”
He laughed. “You’ve had many chances to go to the police in the last few weeks, and not once have you, because I do believe you said they are not to be trusted, so, no, I don’t believe you will.”
“Isn’t this some kind of bad thing?” she asked. “Won’t your club be angry at you for telling me?”
“No, because I have a feeling you’ve got the same vendetta I do,” he said.
“Yeah, but I guess the only difference between us is that you can do something about yours?” She tilted her head to the side and raised both of her brows.
“I’m getting there.” Road wasn’t happy with the lack of progress they were making. He knew Nikki, Golubev’s eldest son, had been in touch with Brute, and asked them to back off for the time being. He didn’t like it.
Now was the time to strike at Golubev. If they allowed him to get stronger, he’d come after the club and they would be royally fucked. However, with Brute now dealing with a wife and having a kid on the way in a matter of weeks, he’d changed.
He knew Brute would still make decisions for the club that would keep them all alive, but Road wanted action. He wanted his revenge.
Damn it, he wanted to see the Golubev fucking burn and that included the likes of Nikki. He didn’t know when the bastard had decided to start working against his father, but he’d made some decisions that would cost any man his soul.
Road had, and glancing over at Dinah, he knew there was one he’d already made that was coming back to bite him in the ass.
“We’re getting off subject here. Have you ever been kissed by a guy?” he asked, trying to stay focused on Dinah and her virginal state.
She pursed her lips. “You already know the answer to that question.”
“No?”
When she rolled her eyes that way, he loved it. She looked so adorable, and inpatient, and he wanted to keep irritating her just to see it.
“No, there. I’ve not been kissed by a guy. Wow, Road, you are so obsessed with this.”
“Do you want to be?” he asked.
She took a deep breath. “What? Do you think I should just go up to some random guy, grab him and kiss him?” She giggled.
“No, but you could kiss me.” He didn’t like the feelings that evoked in him from her suggestion. There was no way any other guy was going to touch her. He wouldn’t allow it, and that felt odd for Road.
He’d used women in the past—a lot of them—and he didn’t care what that meant. Women had been a commodity, an easy way to gain information, and now as he looked at Dinah, he saw something different. Her plump red lips looked so inviting, and knowing no other man had touched them, well, it turned him on. Dinah was new to everything, and for the first time in awhile, Road felt an addiction.
“Nah, I can’t kiss you.” She got to her feet, picked up her plate, and walked into the kitchen.
He followed her through.
“Why?” he asked.
“Because … you’re my friend and friends don’t go around experimenting on each other.” She frowned.
“Is it because of my scars?” he asked. “Is that why?”
She spun around, put her plates on the counter, and then gave him her full attention. “Are you being real right now? Are you seriously asking me that?”
“I’m just … I’m curious is all. That is all.” He held his hands up. “Aren’t you?”
“About kissing?”
“Yes.”
She sighed. “I guess I have been, but what you’re suggesting is not right.”
“Why not?” he asked. “I’m a willing volunteer.”
“You’re more than happy for me to use you as practice for kissing?”
“Go ahead, kiss me. See if you even like it.”
I like this book for many reasons. First I love MC romances. (So if you don’t, you won’t like this book). Second, I loved Dinah’s love for her mother! So sweet! And last, Roads affection for Dinah was sweet and charming. There is also a good amount of suspense!
I loved reading Road and Dinah’s story in Roads betrayal by Sam Crescent. Road trusts no one. When he looks in the mirror he sees the results of trusting someone. When he meets Dinah he knows there is more to her story than she’s saying. Dinah knows she shouldn’t trust Road but she can’t seem to turn away. They both work together to destroy their mutual enemy while exploring the chemistry between them.
Loved This was an intense story, but I loved watching Road and Dinah come together. The dynamic and watching them with each other had me smiling.
This is the second book in the series. I'd suggest reading the first book before this one to know the background, although you could still enjoy this story without reading it. Road was a real jerk to Dinah at the beginning, but quickly saw the error of his ways. I enjoyed Dinah's personality, she did not cut Road any slack. I really enjoyed reading about their "friendship" progressing and them spending time with each other. This story contains action, violence, physical abuse of women, some very steamy scenes, drama between the main characters, drama between Road and his "brothers" and some humor. There is also an "on the edge of you seat" moment when I wasn't sure how things were going to end up. The couple gets a HEA, but the story ends on a bit of a cliffhanger regarding the "bad guy."
Unbeknownst to either, both have been through trauma, pain and betrayal. Road and Dinah don’t have an easy path ahead of them. This book delivers amazing characters and a gripping storyline that continues from the first book in the series. Can definitely be read as a stand alone, but we do get to see Brute, Faith and the rest of the club. Great read and will leave you wanting more for the author and series.
Loved reading Road’s Betrayal. I was hooked from the beginning and couldn’t put it down. Loved Dinah And Road’s story and I can’t wait for the next book!!
Part of the Evil Fallen Bratva series each reads as a standalone yet with one goal take out the evil man who is causing so many families so much pain. Dinah is sweet a loner keeps to herself after what happened to her mother, she refused a man because she was still in love with her father so he had his men come cut her face up scaring her for life and that left an impression on Dinah making her afraid to trust anyone especially guys so dating wasn’t an option until her friend called needing help. She thought her one best friend Raine was in trouble, so she dropped everything to come to her friend’s aid only to discover she lied to get her there but that one action changed her life. Road sexy as all get out scared like her mother sees a threat everywhere he turns so when a crazy lady shows with curlers in her hair demanding her friend he assumes she works with the guy they are after so of course he demands her to tell him where the women lives in not such a nice way I mean he knows violence, and showing up at Dinah house to choked her demanding who she worked until he found out about her mom. The moment he realizes the mistake he made so he tries to fix it by getting to know her, the magnetic pull between them couldn’t be ignored the more they tried the stronger the pull and the started out as friends that grew into something so much more but will she learn the truth, will he be able to explain the why, will she be able to see past the pain, will he be able to protect her, is there a way she can ever feel safe or free, and can they find happiness?
Road finally found the one woman who didn't give a fig about his scars but his past may be the one thing she cannot forgive. Will he try to forge a relationship built on lies or will his new found conscience hope that Dinah is more than willing to put past mistakes on the backburner.
Dinah loved her mother. She was the one that had the talent. When a past event caused her to lose business, Dinah took up the talent. Fast forward, her mother is gone and she is one of the best hair stylist around. When she is accused of knowing Sergey, she is enraged. That man took what was dear to her. Road was trying to keep one step ahead of Sergey. This woman had to be a plant. She never flinched when she saw his scars. Learning about who she is flips everything upside down for him. I have to say karma is a B. Road certainly didn’t expect Dinah’s mom to be the one that connected them. I can understand wanting to get to know her. That is a rough secret to keep. The title says it though. Of course, that can’t be kept forever. All was going well then, BAM it all falls apart. I do like Tanks idea for Sergey. He is owed that. I love that Dinah was a fighter. She was definitely the right woman for Road. Still not too sure about Nikki. And the ending, I was laughing. I hope the next story is Tank’s.
Roads Betrayal is intense! Road and Dinah share a past with one man they equally hate but neither wants to open up about it. But, secrets can't be kept forever and when they do come to light, it's usually never anything good to come from it. Road and Dianah have a long road and lots to work out to find their HEA but when they get past everything Road knows he'll never let Dinah go.
Revenge or Redemption. Road was scarred but Dinah didn’t care, after an explosive meeting, he tried to make it up to her and falling in love was something he never thought he would have but could she forgive him when she found out his biggest secret? An action packed, entertaining and sometimes brutal page-turning read that I really didn’t want to put down. Another great read from this author.
Loved Road and Dinah! Their story was so good and I absolutely couldn't put it down. These two have been through so much and have much more in common than either of them realize!
This Evil Fallen Bratva MC sure are becoming my favorite of this authors books. It reminds me of the Chaos and Skulls series. This Mc have so much to fight for, Road and Dinah had a rough beginning and especially with Road hiding secrets from Dinah. But it sure shows what a heart of gold Dinah has in giving poor Road a second chance. Love reading this series and I’m so excited to see more of the members I would definitely love to read Tank story soon.

I absolutely loved Roads and Dinah. The dynamic and watching them with each other had me smiling. I hated that he kept secrets and that the secret could ruin them. It had me feeling sorry for them. I was rooting them on from the beginning.
Trust is something Road doesn't do, scarred physically by his past working for Golubev. But when it comes to Dinah he can't keep away, she's ignites life into him even when he knows her past is connected to Golubev, but he's hiding a secret of his own past from her, one that could tear her from him forever. Well written steamy desires, action, drama, and more a great addition to the series
Loved Roand and Dinah story and this was my first read for the series. I am definitely ready to look up Brute and faith. I would say this ended on a slight cliffhanger with a HEA for now. I did feel bad for Dinah's upbringing and how she missed so much of living life due to caring for her mother that it was a great story for the culprit to be well um not going to spoil that... Highly recommend this read and look forward to the next one in this series.
As I read this, my jaw dropped and I began talking to myself out loud. It was that good! Road & Dinah were just meant to be. I can't wait to read stories about some of the other club members. There HAS to be a continuation to this one because I have questions about a few things that NEED answers. My only complaint is that Sam's books aren't long enough because I get so invested and don't want it to end.
