Redz World
Arika never knew getting shot could be a life changer. But even as he saves her, meeting Vince could get her killed. Is she able to take a chance on love? Plain Jane and the Mafia Beast by Sam Crescent is an enjoyable story. Arika never saw herself as anything special. But Vince finds her enchanting. He sees past her plain looks and body. He sees the fire within. I love that even though Vince wants Arika for himself he fights to give her a better man. But the heart wants what the heart wants and Ms. Crescent shows us only too well how to fight for love. Vince isn’t the easiest man to know or love. He lives in a dangerous world. But I love that Arika looks beyond what Vince does and sees the man he is. I love that Vince has protected his heart until Arika. I loved seeing him fight his nature to give Arika more even if it isn’t him. This story by Ms. Crescent is well written. Arika and Vince are different but so alike. I loved seeing them find a way to make it work in spite of the danger. I loved the chemistry and emotion both fought until they couldn’t. I loved this world and hope Ms. Crescent will revisit it in the future.
