Nash
I loved this book!
The Skulls, 3
The biggest mistake he’s ever made could get him killed.
The Skulls have a set of rules, and Nash has broken one of them. He’s using drugs. Since Sophia rejected him, Nash has been spiraling out of control. When he puts Eva’s life in danger it’s up to Nash’s brother Lash to save him from himself.
Sophia never realized the protection The Skulls provided her until she was attacked. Lash saved her but with an ultimatum. She helps save his brother, or he makes it known she’s not under Skull protection.
Sophia’s feelings for Nash have always been her weakness. As she keeps her word to his brother, trying to help Nash overcome his addiction, the two of them grow closer through his pain, and Sophia realizes she cannot run any longer.
However, The Skulls’ enemies are numerous, and Nash’s careless behavior has exposed the whole club to danger. Someone is plotting against the club in the hope to take control of the town, and they’re going to start with Nash. Can he stay strong as his life and that of his woman are endangered, or will he relapse into the drugs?
Be Warned: bondage, spanking, anal sex
Excerpt:
“Good.” His fingers caressed across her lips. She gasped from the electricity his touch created.
They were alone. No one was coming into the building, and Edward wasn’t chained to a wall.
Heat flooded her pussy as his thumb pressed between her lips. Staring into his eyes, she opened her mouth, accepting him inside. She heard him gasp, and then he was walking her backwards.
She hit the wall, and he crowded in front of her. He took her hands pressing them against the wall. She dropped her gaze to his lips.
“I want you, Sophia,” he said.
Biting her lip, she forced herself to look into his eyes. “I want you, too.”
His mouth was on her within seconds. There was nothing gentle about the possession of his lips. Edward plunged his tongue in deep as he held her hands above her head. Their fingers were locked together. His cock was brandished against her pussy, pressing the thickness of him into her.
Edward broke the kiss going to her neck and nibbling down to where her pulse had to be beating rapidly.
Her heart was racing and her pussy dripping wet. He always made her feel this way around him. It was like the man she’d known for a long time was finally back in her life. Pulling his hands away from hers, both palms lay on her chest, holding her steady. “If you don’t want this, you’ve got to tell me to stop,” he said.
“Why wouldn’t I want this?” she asked.
She’d denied herself once before, and she’d almost lost him. Sophia didn’t care what he said. The only reason he took the drugs in the first place was because she pushed him away.
There was no way she was going to make the same mistake again.
“Are you sure?”
Taking hold of his ears, she slammed her lips on his. “Do you doubt me now?”
He tore at the shirt she wore. She tried to help him tug the shirt over her head. They were moving fast. With her shirt on the floor, she started working on his clothing as he effortlessly got her naked.
This was going to be their first time naked together. She worked at his jeans until they were stood only in their underwear. The black boxers did nothing to obscure the view of his rock hard cock pressing against the front.
“I’m at a disadvantage,” he said, pushing the straps of her bra down her shoulders. His fingers slipped between the clasp at the front.
There really was no turning back now.
I loved this book!
Nash is another good addition to The Skulls series. I liked the story, though I had some mixed feelings about the writing. It was the plot itself, and the wonderful characters, that kept me interested for the entire story. I found myself in shock at some of the unexpected things that happened in this book. It had a great plot that I’ve not seen a lot. I hated seeing Nash hit rock bottom, but I loved how the author handled his journey back from drug addiction. It wasn’t pretty, and I think Sam Crescent did it justice. It was pure raw emotional drama. While I loved Nash, I never quite warmed up to Sophia. She changed her mind with the wind. She pushed poor Nash away time and again. Then Lash throws some attitude and suddenly she changes her mind. I’m sorry but I didn’t buy it. This book had a lot of stuff going on, and it was this that kept me reading through the many grammar mistakes that seem to be a recurring problem with this author. It was fast paced with everything changing from minute to minute. This book gets into the club dynamics, as the Brotherhood is tested from inside, as well as from an outside threat. Friendships were born and alliances were strengthened. While respect had to be earned back as relationships were tested. The author threw a lot of action and suspense into this one. An old enemy with an insidious plan is lurking around and causing plenty of trouble for the Skulls. Now, for my very favorite part of the book. As usual, Sam Crescent burns up the pages. Once Nash came off his leash, the love scenes were sizzling hot. The love scenes are not for the faint of heart. There was some anal play, some spanking and bondage as they made up for lost time. I liked this book for the characters and the story. Some parts were hard for me to read, when some of the characters let their dark sides come out to play. I loved that. While I liked this one, it did have some bad grammar that got on my nerves. Lucky for me, I was able to get past that and still enjoyed the book. I look forward to Tiny and Eva having their own reckoning in the next book. I enjoyed this book, and I would recommend it.
Nash is at the lowest point of his life and it just might get him killed. The Skulls have a set of rules they live by and doing drugs isn’t an option. The drugs have taken over and he finds himself looking to keep the high going no matter how he has to achieve it. When his addiction can no longer be denied, it is up to Lash to step in and save his brother before he either gets booted out of the Skulls or he kills himself. Lash isn’t about to make it easy on Nash. Sophia pushed Nash out of her life in order to try and save her heart. But when Lash saves her from an attack, the price is her word that she will do anything he asks in order to assist him in overcoming Nash’s addiction. Nash will do anything in order to win Sophia’s heart and he will beat the addiction and take his punishment from his brothers in the Skulls in order to prove that he is no longer a weakness to them but that he is tough enough to walk within their ranks once again. But an unknown danger is stalking the Skulls in their own town, looking to take control of it and they will do anything to come out on top. Anyone who has never read a book by author Sam Crescent, the only thing I have to say to you is, “why haven’t you?” You have no idea what absolutely decadent delights you’re missing out on! And to the millions who are Ms. Crescent’s loyal readers, you know exactly what they are missing out on. No matter what genre Ms. Crescent is writing in, she delivers the goods providing a daring, sensual and addicting story that feeds the heart, mind and soul of the reader with every riveting and thrilling read. Extremely moving, Nash, the third book in in Ms. Crescent’s best-selling series The Skulls, continues to ramp up the action, passion and drama with its seductive pace and mind-blowing twists. The depth of raw emotion and temptation as well as the compelling and daring set of characters turns this story into an unforgettable and captivating read. From the first two books, we have gotten glimpses into the relationship between Nash and Sophia as well as the issues that work against them even though the attraction and connection burns hotter than a fire cracker on the fourth of July. Ms. Crescent portrays the highs and lows as well as the obstacles Nash and Sophia must tackle realistically without being too graphic, but with the right combination of drama, danger and passion to hold the reader’s attention. Nash might not be a dashing romantic knight in shining armor out to rescue his lady love. He is the perfect bad boy who is strong and loyal enough to love his woman while protecting her from the outside world. The reader also comes to understand that although The Skulls might be a motorcycle gang made up of men and their women, they are also a family who takes care of each other and protects their town from harm. Sophia has had a lot of heartache in her life. She keeps all of her emotions locked up tight trying not to let malicious people see the hurt. But there is also a force of iron in her determination to live life. It’s through her relationship with Nash that she really opens up to the love she deserves as well as the friendship that she makes with some of the women of the gang that Sophia’s really blossoms. The connection between Sophia and Nash can’t be denied no matter what has happened in their past to haunt their future. Once again, the ending has that wow factor that the reader has come to expect from this series while setting the stage for Tiny and Eva’s book as well as another new and exciting series from this talented author.
Nash is a member of the Skulls. It’s what he wanted to be since he was young and has given him a sense of family. Nash’s biggest issue is the Skulls have rules and he has broken the biggest rule they have, which is 'Don’t Do Drugs'. What Nash does not understand is, since he started doing drugs he put everyone he cares about in danger, especially Sophia, the love of his life. Sophia is Eva’s younger sister. Sophia has been judged by her sister’s actions more times than she can count, but she had not realized how protected she was by the Skulls. Once Nash stopped paying for her apartment, she dropped out of school and started working two jobs to get by. After she is attacked, it becomes more obvious that she is in danger. Lash recruits Sophia to help save his brother and help get him over his addition. The chemistry between Sophia and Nash is blistering. The sex scenes were hot and steamy. As long as Nash can kick the drugs Sophia is willing to help him. Nash is the third book in The Skulls series by Sam Crescent. I found this book to be well written. The main and secondary characters were well-formed and interesting. The characters of the past two books make appearances. I loved that this book was not what I was expecting, with a darker feel than the past books. Overall, this was a wonderful book and Ms. Crescent’s writing helps draw the reader in and does not let go until the very end of the story.
This book is part of an awesome series!! I loved the first two books and Nash's story didn't disappoint me. Nash had to hit rock bottom before he finally got help. Lash had to save Sophia and threaten her to get her to expose her true feelings for Nash. Sophia really came through for Nash and he helped her when she needed it. These two made each other better. I love how we get to know all of the Skulls. I am looking forward to the next book in the series!
