Rainbow Book Review
This short story focuses on two quite fascinating women trying to pull the pieces of their lives together. One recently went through a painful breakup. The other has simply been unattached for quite a while. In a friendly tavern environment, both women feel sparks and possibilities. They have no idea what astounding events are about to surround them. Tantalizingly intriguing! Raya and her good friend Misty meet a very alluring newcomer at their favorite watering hole. Raya is really wowed by this woman. Her mind is flooded with sexually provocative desires with which she would love to engage this newcomer. Even Raya is a bit flabbergasted by the intensity after such a brief encounter. Additionally, there are several compelling undercurrents pulling at Raya, but her unusually vivid feelings for the curvy woman top everything. Delectable! Amari lives with her mother. They have both emigrated from India and her mother is always warning Amari about her powers that others most assuredly would want. Amari kind of pooh-poohs her, but in general she absorbs her mother's concerns and keeps an eye out for things. She is a bit reluctant to go out with her friend Drea who has been insistent that Amari stop moping. They will play their partnership game so as to ward off any persistent suitors, just like they have many times before. Amari is as stunned as Raya is when intense and startlingly heated responses seem to be generated when she just lightly touches Raya. The meaning of this is befuddling, but the erotically heightening sentiments that flood her mind and body are very hard to ignore. Amari unquestionably but innocently draws Raya into her world. Oh my goodness, the fireworks really begin to fly and the mysteries that surround Raya start to melt before everyone's eyes. Stupefying! This condensed tale really packs a wallop and I have no qualms recommending it. I really wished this were a longer story as I definitely wanted to know and experience more of Amari and Raya's transformations. Delightful!
