One of my favorites
Another good addition to this series. Good characters and plot along with some good twists and turns. Over all it was enjoyable.
Trojans MC, 11
Matthew and Luna don’t have a good history.
When they were teenagers, Matthew made promises and broke her heart. He had to let her go and watch her walk away. For years, he’s watched from a distance, knowing he is the one for her. Not anyone else.
There is no one else for Luna. Boyfriends never worked out. There was only ever Matthew. Just him, and she hates it. She isn’t a doormat, pining for a guy who is never going to love her.
So, why is she back in Vale Valley? Why did she quit the life she had to come back home?
Matthew’s not going to let this chance pass him by. He let her go once and regretted it. Now he’s going to work to keep her.
Luna wants to be with him, but how can they make it work? They have so much history, but every second spent with him feels right.
He’s the love of her life.
She’s the love of his life.
Can they make it work—or will they walk away?

Excerpt:
He was a fucking freak because he’d looked forward to that time. “I was a dick to her about the time, but there was nowhere else I wanted to be. Kind of fucking scared me.” He shook his head. “Of course, there were other girls. You know the ones, they were happy to get on their knees, open their mouths. Easy. They weren’t hard. They wanted to be with a biker’s kid. The next best thing to them. I was an asshole. There was this beautiful, sweet, kind, amazing girl. She had the sexiest laugh. She found my dirty jokes funny. That was a surprise. I figured she’d be a bit of a prude.” He smiled just thinking about it. “She told me I was worth something. Told me that I could go far. All I wanted was the club and her.”
“Then you got her?”
“I got her, and you know what I did?” Matthew asked.
“This is kind of self-explanatory. You guys aren’t together, so I’m guessing you were a giant dick to her and you lost her.”
“Exactly. I totally fucking lost her.”
“How?” Kid asked.
“I was fucking freaked. We had sex, and I thought it was the most amazing thing I had ever felt. She was everything. I was her first. I didn’t last. I was a screw-up, and afterward, I panicked. When that happened, I, er, I…” He rubbed the back of his head. “I went and fucked a couple of other girls.”
“Damn,” Kid said. “That’s cold.”
“Yeah, it was cold. I hurt her, and now, there is a chance she’s going to move on. I’ve seen her with a couple of guys. Just kissing, but that was hard. I didn’t want to see her with anyone else, and now she’s back.”
“You’ve got to win her,” Kid said.
“I’m going to try.” He was ready now. No more time for fucking up or being afraid. He’d already been on the receiving end of that, and he knew how it ended. It wasn’t in any way how he wanted it to end.
Kid cleared his throat, and Matthew looked toward him. He was staring at the doors.
Matthew turned and saw Luna standing in the doorway. She held her keys in a death grip.
“Luna,” he said.
“Matthew.” She glanced toward Kid.
“Kid,” he said, getting to his feet. “Matthew wasn’t wrong. You’re beautiful.”
Luna’s mouth opened and closed. She didn’t look sure as to what to say or do. “Er, thank you, I think.”
He winked at her. “This is my cue to leave. Don’t be a stranger, Luna.”
Matthew wanted to hurt him. Luna was his.
“Don’t think about him.”
“What— How? Why?” Luna asked.
Matthew frowned. “I’m a little confused. I don’t know what I’ve done.”
“Don’t know what you’ve done? Are you like for real right now?”
“What?” he asked.
She growled. Her voice went deeper, and he could only imagine that she was trying to imitate him. “Luna, I’m being serious. You haven’t— I was a mess back then. It wasn’t good. I know that. I can make that up to you.” She was back to sounding like herself. “What was that?”
This was better. Much better.
“It’s exactly what it means.”
“Why?”
“Why?” he asked.
“Stop repeating everything I say, Matthew. Why would you say something like that?” She nibbled on her lip and tilted her head to the side. She’d done this when they were studying, and he found it so freaking adorable.
Matthew closed the distance between them. Luna took a step back, then another, and another, until her back hit the wall.
He pressed his hands to either side of her head. “Luna, you’re a clever woman, but I will be straight with you. Our first time together sucked for you. You were in pain. I wasn’t good. I’m better now, and what I’m offering you is the chance of a good fuck.”
Her eyes flashed, and he watched as she licked her lips. There was interest there. Interest and something else—need.
Luna wanted him, but she was fighting him. “It doesn’t mean anything.”
“It doesn’t have to mean anything. We can have a good time.” It was a complete lie. To Matthew, it would mean something. “I’m offering you a chance for us to have some fun. No strings attached. You, me, and sex. That’s all.”
She put her hands on his chest and pushed him away. “I’ve got to go.”
Matthew didn’t want to let her go. Sinking his fingers into her hair, he pulled her in close and slammed his lips down on hers. He kissed her, giving her a taste of what was to come if only she’d let him.
“Think about me,” he said.
Another good addition to this series. Good characters and plot along with some good twists and turns. Over all it was enjoyable.
This was a good read. I love books where they were once in love and years later they find each other again and that’s what Matt and Luna have love happy endings
Mistakes by Sam Crescent has made it as one of my favorites. It's impossible to not be wrapped up immediately in this book. Once the story begins to unfold, it's fast and keeps you wanting to know more. It's full of unconditional love based on a past shared experience, one that has broken their hearts and souls but that themselves can mend, and subsequently heal each other. A must read. This was a great conclusion to Matthew and Luna. They made mistakes and Matthew hurt Luna but he's kept watch in the shadows. Luna finally comes home and Matthew isn't going to let her get away again. Can they look towards a future together and let go of the hurts of the past? I enjoyed the story and highly recommend it.
Matthew broke Luna's heart when they were young. He had to push her away for her own good, but kept an eye on her from a distance. Luna had tried to move on from Matthew but no one else ever worked out as they were not him. When she comes back to Vale Valley, Matt is not going miss his chance, there is no way he will be able to let her go again. Can these two get past their history and try again?
Mistakes Book 11 of Trojans MC by Sam Crescent Mistakes Book 11 of Trojans MC Sam Crescent I enjoyed this story. The characters, Luna and Matthew, are beautifully written and nicely developed. So good. I was excited to see if they would get their HEA. Great read.
The book opens with present-day Luna 24 years old back in her hometown house sitting for her parents who are on vacation. Working her old job at the diner as she had in high school Matthew’s father who is the president of the bike club talks to her. When Mattew finds out he shows up at the dinner days later. He wants to work on getting back together with her since he broke up with her in high school. The thing is at the beginning you get the feeling that the people around him think she is the one who broke up with him and not the other way around. The book and story are good with passion and suspense with the two of them working at getting back together and issues with the club along with Matthew working as a prospect, which makes everything work story-wise. Good characters as well.
This is a unique second chance romance. It has a twist or two and is so sweet! I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one. I hope it’s Mya’s story.
This book had a very obvious bad guy if you ask me. There was a lot of romance and sexy hot love, but a lot of action as well. Parts of the book were unpredictable, but as far as who the villain was was pretty evident to me. Otherwise, this was a great MC romance.
This author always weaves a tale that will pull you in and make you forget everything else around you. I loved every second of this book.
I loved this MC romance. I liked both characters, Luna and Matthew, and their story. This book had more of a second chance trope to it and there was some mystery and action as well. I figured out who the villain was pretty early but I really enjoyed the overall story about Matthew and Luna regardless. I can't wait to check out the previous stories in this series next.
So glad the author wrote Matthew and Lunas story. Their past mistakes kept them apart but they finally made it work. This book was so worth the wait. Love MC stories, this one didn’t disappoint.
Great story of lost love. I appreciate the building up of the story of Matthew and Luna. I especially like the mention of past characters from the rest of the MC. Keep up the good stories Sam!!
After breaking her heart in his teens Mathew is determined to win Luna back no matter the cost. Throw in some MC action, family interference and a wronged ex-lover and you’ve got enough action to keep your attention. I loved how once the hero got his head on straight he was all about the heroine. Great start to a new MC Series.
Matthew had been a wild teenager boy. His dad is the president of the Trojans MC and he could get any girl he wanted. Luna was the school nerd, she was the loner. Until she had to tutor the bad boy. Matthew and Luna fell in love but just like any teen boy Matthew messes up. Now years later Luna is finally back in town so it's Matthew's chance to get her to forgive him and possibly live him. Luna has heard everything before she is bot sure of she can trust her heart around Matthew. But when weird things start happening around town and Luna gets caught up in it Matthew is there to save her.
love me some Sam Crescent books. When i see one i have to read it. Love it so much. Each one just gets better and better. I am totally hooked on each story. Loved this one.
Great read! Luna and Matthew get a second chance years after Matthew broke her heart. Some suspense, past OW drama, and lots of spicey scenes. Great ending and another great Sam Cresent book!
As always I really enjoyed this book! Sam Crescent never writes a bad one. I could not put it down till the very end. I love this world and all the characters in it! Can't wait for sam's next book!
This was a great read. It's nice when Karma comes full circle, but it's even better when the target realizes their mistakes and wants to make up for them. Definitely what happens here. Loved it. Great lunch time read. Super quick, but all the feels.
This was a total page-turner. I really enjoyed this book from beginning to end. This was a second-chance trope. The characters and world Sam Crescent created are original, complex, and spicy. The characters were perfectly written for each other. Their angst and determination were fun to read. I loved the interaction between all the characters in this book. The heat level was definitely smoking in this book. Luna is just trying to find herself. I enjoyed her strength, stubbornness, and commitment to what she believed in and wanted. Matthew was just wanting to belong in his MC and was determined to get what he wanted. They both had pasts with each other that was riddled with pain on both sides. It was like a push and pull with them and I ate up their fight. I enjoyed the originality of this book. I was trying to figure things out and was wrong at every turn. I love that about books. I think one thing and then when it all is revealed I was totally wrong.
This book was great and it was full of agnst, spice, steam, some danger and alot of chemistry. This was the first book that I read by this author and it wont be the last.
This was quite the engaging second chance romance for Luna and Matthew. Matthew was an immature cad to Luna, his highschool sweetheart. She left him and his bad behaviour and went off to uni. Now she's done and home to house sit for her parents while she decides where to apply for work. Matthew has grown a ton and regrets a ton... He knows Luna is totally right in trying to blow him off but he can't let her go. What follows is a ton of grovelling and lots of hope. I couldn't help rooting for him even though he really didn't deserve an HEA with such a great gal. I loved the chemistry between them and the fact that we had some MC stuffs going on to keep things hopping :D
Matthew & Luna's story "Mistakes" is an emotional one. Luna is back in town to house sit whilst her parents are away & it's not long before she runs into Matthew. The spark of attraction is still there but so is hurt he inflicited. He broke her heart & she refuses to let that happen again despite him saying that he wants her back & it's only her that he loved. What lengths will Matthew go to to prove that he is serious about her?
I enjoyed this story, Sam Crescent knows how to write stories that keep you glued to your book. Luna and Matthew's story is great, they have a past together and misunderstandings take them both in different directions. After years they meet again and will they put the misunderstandings and hurt feelings behind them and can Matthew make amends? This is definitely a must read and to find out how they are doing.
Mathew and Luna have a second chance at love. They fell in love in high school and like many teenage loves misunderstanding, distrust, and youth got in the way. Club drama with drugs in Vale Valley add a suspense to the background of Mathew trying to win back Luna and facilitate her growing to trust him again. This book showcases characters from previous books that makes me want to go back and read the entire series.
Matthew and Lina’s story has them splitting up and her moving away only to come back years later and we get to see how it affected each one and how they make their hea and also there is a twist you don’t want yo miss out on.
This is the eleventh book in the Trojans MC series. It's a fast-paced and standalone book that will keep you engaged from start to finish. This is the conclusion to Luna and Matthew's story after what happened to them. Read to find out what happens.
Love, Love Trojans MC series. Mistakes was an awesome addition to this series. Loved reading Luna and Matthew’s story!!
Matthew and Luna have a complicated history. Luna was Matthew's tutor in high school and they had feelings for each other. Matthew loved Luna but was afraid of his feelings for her so he slept with other girls and would not commit to Luna. He broke her heart and after a pregnancy scare, Luna left town to go to college and Matthew realized that he needed to grow up if he ever had a chance of getting her back. I never like cheating in a book and Matthew did cheat on Luna when they were teenagers but those occurrences have already happened when we get to present day and Matthew is now prospecting for his patch in his father's MC and has stopped sleeping around and is just waiting for his chance to prove to Luna how much he loves her and that he is ready to commit. Luna loves Matthew but is not sure that she can trust her heart to him again. I really liked that Matthew did grovel and basically beg Luna for forgiveness. He also told his dad and friends that it was his fault on why they were not together and that he loved Luna and she was it for him. So for me the grovel was good, there was enough action to keep my attention and plenty of spicy times in between.
Seems like fans of this series have been waiting forever for Matthew and Luna's story and now Ms. Crescent has given it to us. Yes, there were times I wanted to shake both of them and make them wake up but hey, then there wouldn't be a story. This is one of my favorite series by the author and it was good to see characters from the previous stories and some new ones that I'm hoping will get their story in the future. Anyway, Matthew is gonna have to fight like crazy to get Luna back. He messed up big time so he's juggling that along with trying to become a patched in member of the MC. Even though his dad is the Prez, it doesn't mean he's got it easy. Nope, his dad is gonna make him work for it like everyone else. I honestly loved this one so much!!
Wow, I loved Matthew and Luna's story. It was worth waiting for! Are Preach and Maya next in line for a book?? Can't wait, I really love the Trojans MC!
Love this series! It’s been a while since I have read the Trojans MC that I have miss them so much. Now I’m glad that we came back to them and with none other than Duke’s son, Matthew wow this man he sure has grown in too a tough handsome man that’s know what he wants and is not afraid to go after it and Luna she is just the perfect woman for this alpha man that she sure has gone through so much for the love of her man. This two they sure have a lots of ups and downs but they sure got to their happy ever after.
When Matthew and Luna where first introduced I said to myself I hope they have their own story because I want to see how they end up. My wish was granted! It was so wonderful to see that the hero kept to the recipe that he had to fight for the woman's love and the woman had to think about if the hero is actually worthy of it. Great conclusion to their story.
A memorizing love story that leads you through pain betrayl growth and pure love Excellent Read! A must read!
A great second chance for Matthew and Luna who had a rocky relationship the first time around because Matthew was afraid of being a disappointment to Luna. They both have that hot chemistry that didn’t seem to go away even when they were apart. When Luna is being tasked to help out the MC by Matthew’s dad, it will test how strong their relationship will be.
If you read “Easy” from the series, you know the story about Matthew and Luna’s past. It was heartbreaking. We finally get to read their story grown up. They both stilled loved one another but the past kept getting in the way. For Luna is was difficult to trust him. Matthew had no problem telling Luna he loved her. He loved her from the start. He just was a stupid teen who messed up with her and wanted to win her back. We also still have an issue in Vale Valley with the drugs. Someone has created one that is killing the people. It was looking bad for the club and they needed to find out what was going on. I had a feeling who was the cause of all of it. Luna moving passed all the heartache from before and learning to believe Matthew was the big hurdle. These two were meant to be. Just needed to push for it.
Mathew broke Lunas heart and his own when he pushed her away, he watched her go but always watched over her. There was no one else Luna wanted than the man who didn't want her, or so she thought. When she returns back to the Valley to belp her parents out, Mathew won't let this second chance pass by, but can Luna trust him with her heart a second time? But trouble surrounds the club and when Luna gets involved how will Mathew react? And can he keep her safe? Well written second chance, grovelling, desires, steamy drama and more. A great addition to the series
I have been waiting patiently for Matthew and Luna's book forever and this did not disappoint! Not only did we get to go back to the world of the Trojan MC and see familiar faces but we got to see Matthew and Luna finally get their happy ending. I cannot recommend the Trojan MC Series enough ❤
Matthew and Luna were different. Matthew made some wrong choices in the last few years and has lived with the regret. Luna was heartbroken, went off to college and tried to move on. She came back home to figure out what to do with her life. Matthew was true to his word and made up for his past mistakes and became the man Luna deserved. Luna was a pretty tough person when it came to anyone trying to talk to her about Matthew. She knew how to fight her own battles.
I love this book. Author delivered this book. I needed these characters story so much. I love their conclusion for sure.
I remember reading the first stories in this series and reading now all those characters is kind of nice. Didn't think about the young boy back then, but now is wow! I liked how he own his mistakes and didn't blame anyone else. I understand how a highschool love can be so strong that you can not move on that easily, and is even better when everything has a happy ending!
Luna had left nothing behind in her small town. She had gone to college, and did well. She had tried working in a lawyers office, applied at a publisher house. What was wrong with her? No man even came close to touching her. Her parents needed a house sitter,so she returned home. The boy that she loved in high school ,who loved everyone else, showed up. Will she give Matthew another chance,or remember he's a biker, and was so cruel to her.
It was so good. Didn't disappoint. Did wish there was a little more from Mac. What he was thinking.
Mistakes is the fast paced story of Luna Daniels and Matthew Bana. These two have been in love forever it seems and early on lots of mistakes were made. Just when they're starting to rectify all of that problems arise in town and the Trojans are front and center to get them taken care of. This book as I said is fast paced and can be read in one sitting. It has plenty of surprises and emotion.
The perfect title for this book. It sums up the mess that Matthew and Luna put themselves through. Too bad they had to go through all they did to get where they are. But young romance isn't easy and both needed to grow. The good girl and the biker will take the rollercoaster and put you front a center for all that they have to endure. I received an ARC for an honest and voluntarily review.
