Matilda Janes is a pseudonym near and dear to my heart. The first adult romance novel I ever read was snagged from my Grandma's collection. (I still have it.) She used to call all of her Granddaughter’s the Janes. We all had names that started with the same letter so I guess it was too hard to keep our names straight. My Grandpa called all of us Matilda for the same reason. Not sure where the nicknames came from and unfortunately it's too late to ask. When I was wondering what to call myself while contemplating taking the plunge into writing, Matilda Janes was born. When I'm not reading or writing (often with a baby on my lap or playing Uno with the older one) I'm working full time and hanging out with my family.
