Sweet, touching and sexy story!

What a touching, lovely and sexy story! The characters are amazing and each of their own kind of cute and...you just have to love them instantly. When Glenton realizes that he is into Aric and falling for him, it's touching and sweet. Glentons thoughts, feelings and fears are realistic and you can almost feel the struggles he fights with yourself. But Aric is always at his side. The Moment when the six have to go back in the chambers for the last two weeks, them saying goodnight, it just broke my heart a little bit. Would they make it and be together again? And as it looks like, Aric would lose his sweet Glenton and didn't care if the others see he loves him so much, oh you had me in tears there, James. This is really a very emotional, heartwarming and sweet but very sexy coming-out-story I so so loved to read. Great job, James! And I love Glenton, he is an adorable little hero!

Overall, this story felt almost sweet in the romantic aspect and even the science-fiction aspect was not one of huge scientific terms but one of humans fighting for survival against all odds. I really enjoyed seeing what happened as they reached the end of the countdown and finally opened the hatch to the surface once again, and the answer to why the equipment was failing was satisfying as well.

Sweet, loving sci-fi romance

The world is in deep trouble, it cannot sustain itself, the solution? put everyone in hibernation chambers until the world has rejuvenated, but there is always a "but!"' In this case, Glenton comes awake with ice shattering around him, where is his father? what is happening? he is only a boy, what can he do? Another slightly older boy, Aric, saves him and a handful of other children. The storyline then takes us on their journey of surviving below the surface, how their friendships were cemented and most importantly, Glenton's attraction towards Aric. Then comes another "but"' they need to go back into the hibernation chambers to survive, but will they wake up? You will need to read the book to find out! I am not a fan of sci-fi (it's usually to high tec for me to understand) but the author made a complex situation/story, into a very easy to read, simple love story. The romance side was sweet, loving and caring. I am rapidly becoming a fan if James Cox, this book was certainly written differently to his others. Throughout the book, I kept getting the feeling , that the author was drawing on personal happenings, which made the book so much more personal. I may be wrong, but this book was written with heart and soul that shone from every page. Five stars from me - "because it's worth it!".
