The front door opened, and Callan stepped outside. My body flared to life with one look at his blond hair, firm shoulders under a pale blue shirt, the tight buckle around his waist hiding those dips in the muscles women drooled over. His gaze raked me from head to foot, as though he could discern every thought running through my head with one look.

“Hi.” I lifted my hand in a half-wave.

He raised his eyebrow. “No kiss hello?”

I tucked a strand of wavy hair behind my ear. “I wasn’t sure where we stood.”

“Hmm, let me see.” He stretched up and placed his hand on the top of the doorjamb. “Last time we stood was with you against a wall and my cock in your sweet pussy. Does that answer your question?”

Heat flared in my cheeks.

“Come on inside.” He stepped back and waved his hand to the beckoning interior of the mansion.

I walked across the paved driveway and up to the front door. Callan dropped a kiss on my cheek, and another rush of heat worked its way across my face.

Callan looked at me like I’d lost my marbles. Okay, I was nervous, so sue me. “You’re overthinking.”

“I am. I can’t help it.” I dropped my handbag on the hallway table.

“Besides this gorgeous house? I can’t believe how huge it is.”

Callan chuckled. “I’m sure I’ve heard you say those words before.”

I giggled at his ridiculous humor.

He placed his palm on my lower back and guided me through the house to his kitchen. Callan drew out a chair for me, then poured us both a glass of sparkling water and set a plate of baked goodies on the tabletop. He sat in the chair opposite me. His deep blue eyes flickered over my face as though every twitch of muscle told him everything he needed to know.

I sipped the water, licked the wetness from my lips, and placed the glass back on the table before I spilled the contents down my dress.

“Give me your hand.” He placed his palm up on the table.

I peered at his masculine hand for a split second before placing my palm on his. The instant contact soothed me. We sat like that for a minute until my heart stopped racing and threatened to make me pass out.

“You’re so tense.” He stroked his thumb over the back of my hand.

“I have a lot on my mind.”

“Me, too.” He winked. “Did you have a pleasant drive?”

“No. I punctured a tire. Now I’ll have to get my car fixed, too.”

“I know someone. I’ll get it repaired for you.”

“That would be very helpful. Thank you.”

“No problem. Anything else you’d like me to assist you with?” He continued his soft strokes over my skin.

Just being in the same room as Callan made me want to jump on him, let alone when he touched me. A smile tugged at the corner of my lips.

“I like where your mind went.” He let go of my hand.

“We should talk.”

“Yes, let’s talk about this.” He slid a pile of papers from the end of the table in front of me.

“What’s this?”

“You know what we did at the wedding?”

“Yes.” I wet my dry lips.

“That was a little taste of what we could be like.”

“I don’t understand.”

He ran a hand through his silky blond hair. The locks fell over his forehead, giving him a surfer look instead of the businessman exterior he usually exuded. Both looked good on him with his firm jaw, lovable smile, blinding white teeth, and adorable dimples. His mouth was more than just good to look at. He performed amazing things with those lips and his tongue. Teeth, too. My body trembled in anticipation of experiencing them again.

But that wasn’t why I was here.

“I want to help you,” he said.

“How?”

“Get you out of your head for a bit.”

My shoulders sagged. Damn, I’d love that too. To stop thinking, worrying, and to just feel for a little while.

“You like the idea.”

“I do, but…”

“Read those papers, then tell me your but.”

“Okay.” I flicked over the first page, which only showed the title of the contract.

My eyes widened as I read the first sentence. “You’re a dominant?”

“And you’re a submissive.”

“I am not.” I stood, but the blood rushed to my head, and I had to sit back down before I passed out. “What makes you say I’m a submissive?”

He raised an eyebrow at me and waited for my mind to catch on by itself.

“Shit,” I mumbled as images of our night together flashed through my head. Of how assertive he’d been and how much I’d loved it.

“Let me ask you this. Have any other lovers satisfied you?”

I dropped my chin. Every other man had disappointed me. Left me unsatisfied. Lost. It’s why I never dated them for long.

“No,” I whispered.

“Did I satisfy you?”

I lifted my gaze to his. “You know you did.”

He tapped the papers. “These make sure I’ll fulfill all your needs.”

“What about your needs?”

“You meet my needs when I take care of you.”

I tilted my head as my heart filled with warmth. “You want to take care of me?”

This is an author I haven't read before and I enjoyed her story. The chemistry between Callan & Zara is sizzling and it can't be denied. At the beginning I thought I missed something in a previous book because of the formatting and timing of the first chapter. But I kept reading and eventually Helen brought everything together. I love a great bdsm book that has subspace and good aftercare. Callan provides that for Zara, he's a great Dom. Even though Callan has so many walls up because of the terrible way women have treated his whole life. Zara eventually breaks through by proving her love to Callen and being there for him no matter what.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Zara and Callan. They meet at a wedding. There was an instant attraction. They had a one night stand. Six weeks later, Zara moves to Los Angeles, where her sister is, also Callan is. Zara is pregnant, as soon as Callan knows he ask her to marry him. She agrees to. They each have issues but together they work them out together and fall in love.

The store begins with Zara finding out about her pregnancy and remembering about the incidents which happens at her Sister's wedding with her brother in law's friend who is Callan. Zara and Callan liked each other but that was it. The chemistry between Zara and Callan was so hot that it sizzles off the pages and with the twists and turns along the way made this book definitely worth reading

This was an entertaining story. Callen and Zara have an amazing night at her sister's wedding. Callen was the best man and when he leaves Zara finds that she pregnant, unemployed and moving. Callen and Zara meet again and Callen is thrilled that Zara is pregnant and their one night satisfied his needs to dominate and his woman to submit. Will their short time together lead to an HEA? I enjoyed this story.

This is a new author for me and I really enjoyed the story and will be looking for more books from her. Even though I had to go back and forth and re read some parts to understand some parts of the story overall the plot was good with likable characters. The chemistry between Callen and Zara was hot. I didn’t feel the story was dragged it was well paced. Overall it was an enjoyable read.

This is the first book I've read written by Helen Walton; I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the fourth book in the Billionaires Reluctant Brides Series; it is a stand-alone book. The story is about Zara & Callan; he’s the best man at her sister’s wedding, they spend one-night together she ends up pregnant but doesn’t think she’ll every see him again but when he finds out she’s pregnant he goes to find her. This is the fourth story in the "Billionaires' Reluctant Brides" series but can be enjoyed as a stand alone read. The story is steamy with dom/sub action and a surprising twist. This one is about Callan and Zara. They share a night of very steamy passion after her sisters wedding. Then she finds out that there is going to be a little bundle because of it. She goes to tell Callan but steamy action ensues. He finds out in a very shocking way which also leads to a proposal. I enjoyed every bit of this story. Callan has a sad and tragic past that really shapes him into who he is and his insecurities. Zara is trying to get a job as a psychologist and he is so good for her and encouraging. I love the twist in this story. It is amazing how things happen for a reason. I love the characters!!! So perfect for each other!

This book follows Zara and Callan along with their friends who are in other books. Zara and Callan met at a wedding and spent that time together. Cal made Zara feel like no one else. Now Zara is moving and looking for a new job and finds herself very stressed. Zara also has a secret she needs to tell Cal. Cal wants to see Zara again. Cal also wants to help Zara control some of anxieties in his playroom. This part of the book is spicy. Cal does propose to Zara but everything changes after that. Cal changes. Zara is a psychologist and wants to help him. Zara's dad also is a cop and gave her a completed background check on Cal. Zara doesn't want to break Cal's trust by reading the report. There was a whole other story there from the past that influenced both Zara and Cal. Can it be the happy ending Zara and Cal both envision? Nice story and not too long.

This is a great book. The characters were complex. Zara is a character I think we can all relate to. She gets so anxious over job interviews that she throws up. Callan finds out she’s pregnant with his baby and takes such good care of her. It was a sweet romance with a very interesting twist!

I really enjoyed reading this book as it had great characters and a storyline that kept your attention throughout. The chemistry between Zara and Callan was so hot that it sizzles off the pages and with the twists and turns along the way made this book definitely worth reading. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I look forward to reading more in the future.

This was a really cute story about two people who meet each other at a wedding and hook up but later find out she is pregnant and he proposes but we find some interesting twists and things happen for a reason there is a bump in the story but we get our HEA did I mention this was a cute story and I forgot to mention there is some really hot scenes to keep you entertained.

This was my first book from Helen Walton and I enjoyed it. I love a good sex scene and am not bothered by BDSM, but readers who are will likely want to skip this one. I also love a surprise pregnancy trope, though this particular pregnancy was discovered way earlier than I would expect for a woman not actively trying to get pregnant. Regardless, the chemistry between the two main characters was hot and the easy acceptance of their kink from friends and family (who admittedly have kinks of their own) was nice to see. While the 4th in a series, I did not feel lost having not read the earlier books, though I did go and read the synopsis of each of those books prior to starting this one, which likely helped. I did like the sweet twist at the end, though it was not unexpected. A 4-star read overall. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for a complimentary ARC of this book. I really enjoy stories like this, when a past connection circles around to the present. I thought the way she handled his resistance was spot-on. At one point, she tells a story about Rex that immediately turns on the water works and makes connections you can't believe she can't see. I loved it. Fast read, great for a lunch break or Sunday afternoon.

I keep going back and forth how to rate this book. The premise is great and entertaining. I liked the surprise pregnancy, D/s, and may/december elements. However, there are bits that are choppy and abrupt. It is spicy with a good twist or two. And I liked the dialogue. Overall this is a good read.

This author knows how to open and introduce a story. This is a romantic comedy and you cannot help but fall in love with the characters. The characters are relatable and it was exciting to meet them. There was the re-introduction of other characters from previous books in the series. It wouldn’t hurt to read the other books but the author has introduced and summarized their stories so well. The story sucks you in that you don’t realize you are on another chapter even though you promised yourself that you will stop in the previous chapter. I read this book during the night-it was that good. The plot stayed with me so much that I needed to know what was coming up next. The way the author explored the kink between the protagonists was so delicious and steamy. She explored the topics of child neglect, grief, anxiety/panic attack. There were no triggers at all. I enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to more works from the author.

Beautiful story Beautiful characters I loved it . It made me want to read other characters story. Although I wasn't big fun of male leads confusing me. One sec he's amazing the next one he closing up on fm. I felt like coming near end the author wanted to squeeze everything. That he doesn't bliv in love bcos of how he was treated with woman dom in his youth and then he doesn't because her mom killed herself. And also the fact that they met when they were 17. People don't Chang that much to extent of not recognising the person after hasa if that person let good impression to extent of female lead choice of her profession
