Wolfe smelled how desperate she was. The scent surrounded her like a second skin, and he had to admit how intoxicating it was.

Poison Wolves MC - Book 1 - Hard For You - By Sam Crescent This is the first book in a brand new MC series by Sam Crescent. However, this is not an ordinary MC, these are bike riding wolf shifters who protect the whole of their pack with a fierce protectiveness. The pack and their shifting ability must be protected and kept secret at all costs. Wolfe is the VP of The Poison Wolves MC he tirelessly protects the pack alongside Alpha, the club president with the fiery temper, Enzo and his knitting needles, Boyan with his cheekiness, Draco with his demons I can't wait for his story, along with the rest of the brothers. Wolfe is a big, bad, alpha male, strong and fearless. He finds himself constantly drawn to Amelia. The lowest member of the pack, nobody within the pack likes her, not even her own family. She is the only wolf shifter in the pack who is a vegan and is against violence. She does not have the characteristics associated with being a typical wolf. Wolfe wants her but doesn't think she is a strong enough female to be with a member of the Poison Wolves. Then when something happens Wolfe doesn't believe Amelia, the hurt of his lack of trust is too much. Although when danger comes Wolfe soon realises he has made the biggest mistake of his life. Really great characters, well written and their chemistry was great! Wolfe was a character that you can't help but want to win the girl even when he keeps making mistakes you just want to shake him. I really felt for Amelia she showed so much strength and character to withstand such treatment I felt many underestimated her. I hope Val gets his story too he definitely has a past we need to learn more about. I can't wait for more of this series, so much to look forward to. Happy Reading. Amelia doesn't fit in with her pack. She's not your typical She Wolf. Hence why the pack wants too get rid of her; problem is the Poison Wolves MC won't let that happen. Wolfe has been attracted to Amelia from day one. Meantime, a threat has shown up and number one target is Amelia. Will Wolfe get his girl? Or is her threat a false alarm or is it? A great read and good storyline.

What happens when an alpha and VC of the Poisoned Woves MC falls for the pact reject. Amelia was considered to be off. She was a vegan. Who ever heard of a vegan wolf? This is a great start to a new series. The story is well written and entertaining featuring an Wolfe, an Alpha wolf and Amelia a she wolf who is much more than she appears. There is an unexpected danger that is neutralized but I wonder if it will appear in future books in this series. There is a HEA for Amelia and Wolfe but a lot happens first and he almost blows it. I really enjoyed the story and all of the interaction between the numerous characters. This is definitely a book worth reading and future stories. This was a great start to a new series. Amelia is a pack outcast. Everyone, believes she's weird because she didn't eat meat. Wolfe and Amelia are great together. Wolfe calls Amelia a liar, won't claim her because he feels that she's week. Wolfe made a serious mistake and when he goes to Amelia to ask her forgiveness she shuns him. I loved that she made him grovel and she wouldn't forgive him right away. Will Wolfe ever get his second chance. Love the book.

Oh my god I loved this book. How the pack treats Amelia is really awful and it breaks your heart but damn is she a strong woman. I love that she has 2 dogs as pets and sticks to her beliefs no matter what the consequences are. Wolfe is a total idiot. I really enjoyed the story and am excited to read future books in this series. Definitely recommend.

This is the first book in the Poison Wolves MC series it can be read with in an hour or so with a sexy shifter and the girl who wins his heart. Amelia is intelligent but a pack outcast because she is different, she is a vegan who refuses to hunt, she is broken by the family who was supposed to protect her, love her, by a pack who is supposed to protect all within the pack but there is someone/something hunting the wolves, and being the outcast lives on the edge of the forest alone. Wolfe sexy as all get out jerk for the better part of the story his saving graces is eventually he gets it together, he knew the moment he felt the pull anytime he was around her, yet she still treated as everyone else because he couldn’t be seen with the outcast, doesn’t believe the weird one out about the hunter in the forest killing their kind until it hits a little close to home hurting the women he loves but isn’t yet ready to admit it. Amelia has been betrayed for most of her life but to be betrayed by the one who is supposed to love her but when no one believes her about what is going on in the forest with the hunter hurt her especially when all she wanted was to be a part of a pack who appreciated her but will they see the truth about the hunter, will Wolfe come around to admitting the truth, will she ever feel like she belongs, will she ever feel loved or will she always be an outcast, and can they find happiness?

An enjoyable start to a new paranormal Mc series! Amelia was such a strong character, she didn’t give up on her beliefs and wasn’t afraid to be alone. She was the outcast of her pack and when Wolfe entered her life, she finds herself enjoying being together. But when he becomes scared of his feeling he hurt her and the pack gets back to picking on her. What happens next was an entertaining romance story with wonderful characters and a lesson that needs to be learned in order to find their HEA.

Sam Crescent has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Amelia and Wolfe. Wolfe is the VP of Poison Warriors MC. Alpha is the president of the MC. Wolfe and Alpha and a few of the other alpha team members are mad since Josh, one of the guys from the Beta team messed up and now they have hunters on their land. After they are done dealing with Josh, they head to the bar. Amelia is an outcast in her pack since she is different than the rest of the pack. She is a vegan and she doesn't like to fight or hunt. She was fired from her last job since someone didn't like her working there and the only job she could get was working for Val at the bar. Things happen between Amelia and Wolfe and they get together but Wolfe never takes her out so they can be seen together. Amelia is leaving her apartment one day and feels like she is being watched. She sees something and goes after it. She goes to the lake but can't find what she followed. She tells Alpha and Wolfe what happened and they get everyone together and start looking but find nothing. Alpha ups the security and patrol but still nothing. Wolfe starts to think that Amelia made up the story for attention and tells Alpha what he thinks. When Wolfe tells Amelia what he thinks, she tells him to leave her apartment. She is hurt that he would think that she would lie about something like this. The guys in the MC tell Wolfe that he messed up with Amelia. He goes to talk to her but she doesn't want to talk to him. She takes her dogs for a walk and Wolfe is with her. Her dogs go off and a few minutes later one of them lets out a cry. Something had hurt one of her dogs and Wolfe thinks the other one bit him. Amelia takes her dog to the vet and it doesn't look good at first. The pack has turned against Amelia worse than before after Wolfe told Alpha he thinks that Amelia lied. People in town start calling her names and painting nasty things on her door. Val and two of the guys from the MC don't think that Amelia lied about what she said but the rest of the MC along with Wolfe thinks she has. Amelia calls Val to come and watch her dogs. She tells him she has a few things she needs to get done and she doesn't want to take her dogs with everything that is going on. Unknown to Val, Amelia goes to see if she can find out what attacked one of her dogs. She gets attacked and taken someplace by someone she knows. This person is trying to hurt her and she has had enough. Val takes the dogs with him to the MC and someone said something about Amelia and Val said that she wasn't there. Wolfe wants to know what he means. Val tells him that Amelia called him to come and watch her dogs that morning but she was still not back. Something else was said about the dogs getting into a fight and Val shows Wolfe the other dog's mouth. Wolfe sees that the dog he had said attacked the other one has no teeth so he couldn't have bitten him. So that means that Amelia was telling the truth. Alpha gets everyone together and tells them what is going on. They all go out to look for Amelia. Wolfe is the one to find out where she is. He hears her scream and he and Alpha break into the place she is at. What they see proves to Wolfe that she is not weak. He tries to talk to her but she is still too hurt by what he did to her. She has a broken leg and it has started to heal Amelia tells Alpha that he will need to rebreak it. Just when he starts to break it, Amelia tells him to stop and she makes Wolfe do it. She tells Alpha that Wolfe can't hurt her more than he already has. Will Wolfe get the chance to make things up to Amelia or will she walk away from him for good? This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Amelia's pack doesn't like her because she is a vegan, and she has a couple dogs she took in. They make her even more of an outsider when she gets them to sign a petition saving the deer from being hunted. None of them realized what they were signing until it was too late. Wolfe is interested into Amelia but doesn't want it known because he feels like she weak and he doesn't think she is the one for him. However, this doesn't stop his pursuit of her and getting close with her. Amelia is uncertain what is going on between them but when she really needs him Wolfe shows exactly how he feels about her. Soon she knows that she is on her own. Will she be able to protect herself? Will she finally leave the pack? This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book any book lover would enjoy. I can't wait to read more from this series.

Amelia is the pack outcast and is treated poorly by everyone. Even though she is neglected by her pack, she still maintains an inner strength that makes her character very interesting. Wolfe is the VP of the pack MC and he fights his attraction to Amelia. He knows deep down that she’s his mate but he feels that he can’t be with her because of her weaknesses. However, Amelia might just surprise Wolfe with the inner strength that nobody knew she has. This was a good read with interesting characters and a suspenseful storyline. Action, adventure and some heat.

Wow! This is an awesome story! So the weak and despised girl is much more than she appears. And when the alpha male realizes the damage he caused, she just won't let it go! Very good plot, good characters, hot and intense scenes. Some groveling and a happy ending. I really loved Amelia. Wolfe is sexy and strong and everything we expect from a shifter who belongs to an MC. But Amelia? She is an impressive strong and independent heroine. loved it!

The first book in the Poison Wolves MC series. Amelia is an outcast in the pack she was born into. Wolfe came to the bar demanding food which they did not serve so she went to her home and got him the remained of her Vegan meal. Thus begins their romance, but he will not really see her for who she is. The story has drama, suspense, danger, something evil, villains and romance. I want to read the next book, I need to know what the evil is. I received a copy of this book via Evernight and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love a good paranormal romance by this author and this book hit the spot! I completely devoured this book! I really loved both main characters and I loved their interactions and how you got to see the relationship develop and change. The storyline was good and engaging and I couldn't wait to see what would happen next! I loved the ending and even though I was satisfied I still craved more at the end as I didn't want it to end!

This was a fun and exciting read. It was original and had me turning pages to see what would happen next. The characters were complex, had depth in their relationships and the spice was spicy. Be prepared to be taken on a ride that will leave you wanting more from this world that has been created. This is a paranormal MC book and I enjoyed reading about Wolfe and Amelia. This definitely had a lot of angst between the characters. It had the push, pull, and grovel that I like to read about. I'm so looking forward to what comes next. Such a great start to a new series.

Hard for You is the first book in a new shifter MC series by Sam Crescent. We meet Amelia who's basically an outcast in her pack because of her non-violent and vegan beliefs. Wolfe, the VP of the Poison Wolves MC and pack, is drawn to Amelia in spite of their differences, but finds out hard to reconcile his feelings for her with his duties. I love the outcast trope and Hard on You does it well. I'm looking forward to the second book.

Amelia is one unique wolf, for one she's a vegan. To say the least it hasn't gained her any points with her pack. Her and Wolfe has great passion and heat between them. Their story is interesting but it is on the shorter end and therefore less background is offered. It is still an enjoyable read.

When I read the blurb for this book, I have to say it totally caught my attention. A vegan, non-violent wolf shifter gal? Such a fun concept but her life sure wasn't a fun ride. Amelia was ostracized by her family and her pack. Lived on the outskirts of town, she currently worked in a shifter owned bar and saw Wolf there regularly. She had quite the crush on the smoking hot VP of the Poison Wolves MC ;) Of course, he was super attracted to her but could not reconcile her 'weaknesses' as a good match to his role within the MC that kept the town safe. Their chemistry was off the charts but they had danger, betrayal, discrimination and judgement to deal with. You'll have to dive into this one yourself to see how things unfolded for them and if forgiveness was in the cards to allow for that HEA. Good fun!

Amelia is the outcast of the pack because she is a vegan, detests fighting and loves animals (she has dogs). She has had a hard life because the pack doesn't accept her and wants her gone but the MC that protects the pack says no. Wolfe is the VP of the Poison Wolves MC and is attracted to Amelia but fights it at first. There is an incident and the pack needs to keep an eye on Amelia. Wolfe and her end up connecting and steam happens but he has a hard time accepting her because of what others think. He thinks she is weak. He starts questioning the incident and things take a bad turn in their relationship. By the books end things work out but it takes awhile for Wolfe to see that Amelia is strong AF but just doesn't want to fight and enjoys peace. Others in his club see it first and that was a hard pill to swallow for me in regards to his character. I almost wanted to scream at her to go for her boss and not Wolfe but the heart wants what the heart wants. Interested in the next book because a nice mystery was started in this book. (I did have a hard time getting into the book but am glad that I stuck it out because I enjoyed it).

The whole pack shunned Amelia because she was a vegan and had gotten a petition passed through that deer could not be killed on the pack's land. Since she was a vegan, the whole pack thought she was weak and wanted nothing to do with her. Wolfe, the VP of the MC, was attracted to Amelia, but didn't want to be seen with her in public. However, most of the pack refused to look further than the surface of her, including Wolfe. When he took her virginity and then destroyed her trust in him; he found out just how wrong he was! Will he ever be able to make it up to her? Can he convince her that he loves her the way she is? Be prepared for a story that captures your interest with a strong heroine, a manly MC VP (even if he is somewhat arrogant!), along with great characters and intrigue to keep you glued to the pages. Ms. Crescent does it again with a story that will pull you in from the start!

Sam did it again delivered a great story that kept me turning the pages. Poor Amelia it can't be easy being the aka "weird family member that no one truly wanted but always seems to stick around". The pack hates her because she is different but she loves them with all her heart. Now here comes Wolfe the VP of the pack and he starts to show interest in her. They hit it off pretty well but a mystery person pops up and Amelia is the only person who see him and the possibility of him harming their pack. Things get out of control a mystery person in the forest, a hurt dog and the pack not trusting Amelia. Check this story out to see how Wolfe and Amelia end up together. Enjoy

This is a MC and shifter romance. It's about Amelia and the Poison MC. Amelia is essentially the outcast of the club and her pack. Everyone has let her down. Mostly, I think no one has tried to understand Amelia. Eventually Wolfe takes a interest in Amelia and she has had a crush on him. When it comes down to it though Wolfe thinks Amelia is weak, a liar, and he's ashamed of Amelia. Wolfe broke Amelia's heart when she needed it most. Wolfe did it publicly not privately. Can Amelia continue to endure the hurt everyone has caused her? I really felt bad for Amelia because it was clear Wolfe was using her.

Amelia is a vegan wolf and is a pacifist and doesn’t believe in violence. She has never fitted in with the pack. They belittle her and are cruel because she is different. Wolfe is part of the MC and has always wanted Amelia. Like everyone else in the pack he sees her as being weak because she is not confrontational. Hunters arrive in the area and Wolfe and Amelia are thrust together and have to confront their feelings for each other. This is a good book with an interesting storyline that has a fee twists and turns along the way. This is a very good start to the series.

I really enjoyed this story. I loved how the heroine was unapologetically herself. Grumpy MC Biker werewolf falls for a vegan, pacifist werewolf - definitely a first for me. Some good plot twist kept things interesting and the HEA was just the right amount of sweet.

This was my first read of Sam Crescent and I'm so glad I read it. I loved the idea of a female wolf shifter rebelling in such a unique way. I thought Amelia's character was really well done. There was the potential for her to turn into a weak, passive/submissive character, but she wasn't. Even as she took the abuse the pack rained on her and yet kept trudging on, it felt more like she was able to endure because she was strong and their approval wasn't anything she needed. Definitely wanted to hit Wolfe over the head a few times, but ultimately he brought the drama (and tears because yes I cried over his treatment of Amelia). This was a great read and I will absolutely be looking for the next in the series!

Poor Amelia is just misunderstood. No one in her pack understands her. She's a vegan and she is not big on violence...maybe because she is unnaturally strong herself and she's trying to keep on the DL. Her parents think she's a weirdo and no one in the town really talks to her; she's basically an outcast. That's fine with her except for the fact that her true mate is Wolfe...the beta of her pack. When she starts to see and hear weird things happening around her home; she goes to her alpha hoping to get some help something is out there and it's not anything she's ever smelled before; but she runs into a snag no one believes her! They think she's trying to get attention. Wolfe is skeptical and he knows she's aware of their connection, but is this a creditable threat or is she just trying to catch his attention? With no real support and one of her beloved dogs injured by whatever is out there; Amelia is going to prove she's right! I liked this book it was an easy read and I really liked the heroine despite all the bullying that she experiences from the town and later even from Wolfe, I'm glad she had people in her corner that stood up for her. I love a good grovel and I feel like Wolfe's was satisfactory.

Sweet and spicy start to a new series

I loved this book so much!! It is a great introduction to a hopefully great series. The characters were amazing and had very detailed information as did the wonderful world building. A very steamy HEA with enough action and intrigue thrown in to really catch your interest.

*4.5 stars* Steamy shifter romance… I loved this start to the Poison Wolves MC series! I’ve read this author years and can’t resist whenever a new book comes out. They will be filled with interesting characters, all the heat and a story that will hit all the notes. This time out was no exception… Amelia as an outlier in her wolf pack. A vegan? Loved dogs? Advocated for wild animals. #nohunting? You go girl! Wolfe was not only deeply enmeshed in the pack but was a leader, known and respected by everyone. When her life was in danger, he stepped up. She was pack and therefore protected, regardless of the rest. I loved how they seemed to connect and find common ground, despite their differences. And, honestly, they just felt so right. Of course there were all kinds of obstacles and the pack’s interference didn’t help at all. All the drama made the story even spicier though and, start to finish, was a great read. Not complicated but highly entertaining, this is a series I have on my watch list!

Amelia has hard a pretty hard life with being the outcast of the pack. It made me so happy that Amelia wasn’t a naive, damsel in distress. She knew who she was and didn’t care what others thought. Wolfe was definitely a sexy, bike, alpha-male. I loved every second of it. From the long hair to the leather. Yum. He was also the perfect asshole. He ripped Amelia’s heart out and did everything his his power to make it right. I love this trope. This one actually checked off quite a few tropes I love. If you like shifter romances I highly recommend!

Amelia is unwanted by her pack. She is ostracized because she is different but she stays. She is a good person with more strength than anyone knows. Wolfe is attracted to Amelia but he lets others opinions of her influence his behavior towards her. At times he dies sweet things for her but at the same time is a jerk because he hide his feelings for her from everyone because she is weak. You feel for her with everyone’s treatment of her.

This story has wolf shifters and an MC all in one book! Not only that, it's a very hot and steamy read. Wolfe (no, really, that's his name and he's a wolf shifter) is part of the local MC and Amelia is the "outcast" of the pack. She's a curvy wolf shifter oh, and also a vegan. Not only that she got the Alpha of the pack to outlaw hunting deer in the nearby forest and people don't like her. This story has some pretty funny scenes, mostly involving Amelia's smart remarks. Amelia is a glass is half full kind of gal, always trying to help others and non violent. Her non violent attitude makes people think she's weak. Wolfe seemed like the opposite, he's in the MC and deals in violence and eats meat. The story has a mystery running through about half of the book. What drew me into the story the most was the developing relationship between Wolfe and Amelia. They got pretty hot and heavy, but he there was turmoil involved in their relationship. Stuff happened and Wolfe did something I felt he really needed to grovel about, he did some groveling, but I felt it was not enough. We do get a happy ending which I like in my stories. The story has no cliffhanger and there is no cheating. I can hardly wait to read about what happens with the other members of the MC.

Wolfe and Amelia

Amelia and Wolfe are shifters in the same wolf pack, but on different levels of the hierarchy. Wolfe is an alpha and VP of the Poison Wolves MC (those in charge). Amelia is an outcast due to her being vegan, a pacifist, and considered weak. While they have both wanted each other for years, they certainly weren't going to acknowledge it. After all, nothing could come from it right? I have to say the belittlement Amelia suffered at the hands of her pack nearly made me cry. I certainly wouldn't have stuck around. And Wolfe really just needed a really hard kick where it hurts. I was wondering if he was ever going to wise up. Left with a continuing mystery to follow into the next book in the series. Happy ending for our couple though in the meantime.

I have always loved Sam Crescent books they are an automatic get to read. I love this new series.. Shifter wolves that are an MC gang but also a pack of wolves is great. I have never read another book with this premise. Amelia is a strong female character. Loved it can't wait to read more.

Amelia is the town outcast all because she likes and does things differently. Wolfe is the VP to the Poison Wolves MC, he is bothe feared and loved by many. But Wolfe has a strong need to be around Amelia. When Amelia let's Wolfe become close she has no idea that he thinks the worst of her, he keeps his affair with her a secret. When what he does comes to light she has to decide wether to let her heart or head decide what will happen.

This book was emotional for me. Amelia was ostracised from the pack because she was just being true to herself. She was literally a abandoned by her family and she had no friends. She caught Wolfe’s attention and they embarked on an affair. Amelia opened up to Wolfe and it broke my heart how he treated her. He was so caught up in his status until he didn’t realize how it made Amelia feel until it was almost too late. He apologised and was forgiven eventually. I’m glad they worked it out. I’m anxious for the next story. I have so many questions.

If you like Wolf shifter themes, this is a definite recommended read. Full of suppressed passion, steam, romance and near the end some intrigue and mystery with a HEA! I thought the secondary characters added to the story and their own personality shone through. This is the first I’ve read from this author and what a find. Can’t wait to read the next in the series! Wolf has had a thing for Amelia for ages but he wouldn’t act on it because he thought she was the weakest of the pack. Amelia lived on the outskirts and was a vegan. She had upset the pack numerous times but when she got a petition signed for them to stop hunting Deer in the forest and it was passed. Nobody would look at her or smile at her. They made her life hell, but she was still part of the pack, did her own thing and got on with her life. A fun packed read and journey into Wolf and Amelia’s HEA.

Strength of heart

Amelia is an outcast. The only vegan member of the pack. I have to say that is really different. And she also loves animals but not in the hunting sort of way. The pack wants her gone but that is not going to happen. Wolfe has had a thing for Amelia from afar. When she finds someone lurking near her home, she lets the pack know. Wolfe will keep her safe but with no issues arising, is she crying wolf? I have to say that Amelia is the best of the pack. She has strength and can really take care of herself. I wasn’t thrilled to find out that the pack saw her as a problem. She did nothing to them. She had a big heart and cared for everyone, even the animals. The pack didn’t seem to want to get to know her or why she did things. I was upset with Wolfe the VP. He seemed the weak one. Step up and admit you have feelings for her. We learn some sad things about the pack too. Poor Draco. And what is really going on? There is a mystery that has not been solved yet. I look forward to the next book.

I liked this book and as always Sam Crescent knows how to write steamy scenes. Amelia’s inner strength was admirable and she ended up teaching Wolfe what real strength is. I enjoyed this book and would read about the other characters in the MC in the future.

I love Sam Crescent and I know she will always deliver a quick romance with a curvy heroine and an alpha hero. This one has three of my favorite tropes - MC Alphas, Wolf Shifters, and independent curvy heroines! So it was a quick and fun read that got me out of a reading slump!

Amelia is a wolf shifter , vegan, animal lover, non violent, and hated by her pack. She is forced to live at the edge of town and can’t keep a job because no one wants her around. While walking her dogs, she sees something in the forest that’s not quite human. Wolfe, VP of the Poison Wolves MC and a wolf shifter. The Alpha has them taking turns and watching her. Things become hot between them until Wolfe screws up. Wolfe believes Amelia didn’t see anything in the forest until she disappears. Will Wolfe find her in time? This was soooo good. Amelia has the best personality even though nobody wants her around. I would have liked to have smacked Wolfe. Sex and mystery. A lovely story told in such a simple form & watching Wolfe get roasted in the end for all he put Amelia through was just excellent. A suspense that will continue on I reckon.

Amelia was such a great person. Strong, resilient and caring. She was a great heroine. Wolfe was ended up being great, but he took awhile to get there. He was scared and trying to find a way to find a way to push Amelia away. I look forward to more books about the MC.

A good read that focuses on Amelia being an outcast in the wolf pack because she’s just a bit different from what her pack is use to when it comes to doing things and not having her wolf form. I liked the attraction that Wolfe had with Amelia even though he was a bit gruff with her at times. Also some good suspense added into this couple’s relationship when it comes to the pack and the troubles that are lurking around.

Amelia is ignored, insulted, ostracised and rejected by her pack but she stays ... True to herself and true to her pack. The saying about when given lemons make lemonade? Yep that's our fmc. It makes her appear weak but in reality it proves how strong she is. Her only weakness is one of the MC Alphas. Wolfe interests her like no other male has. Shame he is not for her. Wolfe is one of those guys ... the one women want and men want to be. No one could accuse him of being sensitive though. He's had a thing for Amelia for a while but won't act on it because he needs a strong wolf partner. When events force them into close contact they both give in to their secret fantasy of being together. Only Wolfe rushes the gun and being Amelia's first time? Not good. Made worse when he does a duck and run. That’s the first of many mistakes he has to make up for and when he breaks her heart she decides his chances are up. Amelia is great. The mc Alphas are surprisingly in touch with their feelings ... except Wolfe of course. The pack are awful but seem to be mostly sheep in wolves clothing. And the danger .. it's real and its coming for Amelia. Engaging read with an alpha who has to learn to grovel.

Usually this author writes some of the wimpiest women I have read, but not Amelia. Amelia has an inner strength that makes her able to handle being sort of an outcast for her beliefs. Wolf is part of strong biker club wolves that take care of the pack but don’t feel Amelia is strong enough among other things. The chemistry between the couple is good and the fact that Amelia wasn’t a pushover. I recommend this read.

I kept getting ads for the expensive werewolf books and this fit the bill so I didn’t have to spend $20+. I love the story and the couple as they navigate the relationship and figuring out what the future holds and how things will work. It also hints at possible future stories with the other characters

Haven’t read a shifters book for a while this was good lots of character and action and banter Wolfe and Amelia fell for each other but Amelia being the outcast Wolfe simply couldn’t admit how much he wanted her but after she was brutally attacked nothing was gonna stop him from winning her over

When Amelia spots an intruder lurking near her home, and with recent hunter sightings, Wolfe steps up to protect her, he has always been drawn to her, though he internally battled with her status, When there's no more sign of the threat, it brings more questions than answers and Amelias in the thick of it, will Wolfe be able to get his feelings in check intime to save her? Well written shifter romance, with steamy scenes, angst, betrayals, desire and more.

I have read A LOT of Sam Crescent books. She is one author that there are some I absolutely love and read over again. Then of course there are some I'm just like 'meh' about. I feel like it's been awhile since I've read a Sam Crescent book that I just absolutely fell in love with and couldn't get enough of. Hard for You was absolutely *kisses* chef's kiss. Amelia is an abnormal wolf. -She's vegan -She has pet dogs -She's against violence Because of how she lives her life she's not exactly a welcomed member of her pack. For a while she was tolerated, but after the deer petition nobody wants anything to do with her. She's lost jobs, friends, and been pushed to the edge of the pack land. Wolfe is part of the Wolves MC and keeps the pack safe. He's wanted Amelia for as long as he can remember, but they can't be together. She's a pariah in the pack and he's an MC member who doesn't believe in the mate mambo jumbo. But when hunters are found on their land and Amelia claims there was someone watching her in the forest, he'll take this opportunity to get close and hae some time with Amelia. But as the days go by and nothing else happens with hunters or nobody else tries to come around Amelia again, Wolfe starts to question Amelia's claims. Was she trying to get attention? Was she ever really in danger? I really liked this book. While Amelia is not like a traditional wolf, the MC members all really started to understand more about Amelia and how just because she is the way she is, doesn't make her a weak and bottom of the totem pole kind of wolf. They constantly badger Wolfe for his assumptions about Amelia and the way he so easily dismissed Amelia, her claims, and the feelings that developed between them.

The story was a short read but sometimes, that's what I need at that moment. Amelia is a wolf shifter but she's not liked by the pack because she a vegan, an animal lover and she hates violence! Wolfe is conflicted with his feelings for her but deep down, he knows she is his mate. With the story being short, we don't get a lot of background on exactly what makes them all tick but I did enjoy the story. Maybe we will get more as more books in this new series comes out!
