Beautiful
I was gifted a copy of this book via netgalley in exchange for my honest thoughts and a review. Evie Knight is a new author to me so i went in to this book with a clear and opened mind. Colin Hoskins is a world famous classical violinist, but he is tainted by his past. Colin is very angry at life, And still unable to move beyond the betrayal he suffered from his dead fiancé, he is swearing off from ever performing or falling in love again. Know all he wants is to be left well alone, except no one listens to him. Especially this beautiful assistant he can’t fire even though he wants to, he cant get her out of his mind and now his body is burning up to claim her. Ariel Parks is stranded worried and in a strange foreign country, Ariel is a bankrupted heiress and is in desperate need for a job to fund her way home. Know she has one and is an Assistant of sorts to the musician she has found herself fantasising about for a number of years, This sounds like a dream job. Ariel has never imagined that this gorgeous genius would be a recluse. But her real problem is the way every nerve in her body tingles at the mention of his name and the mere sight of him makes her weak. I really enjoyed this book, Colin and his weird ways, i loved his possessiveness and his passion, The characters are very well written and the depth to them are great. I enjoyed Ariel and how she never gave up on Colin even if she caved in a bit to easily but hey all women are different. I found this book hard to put down. Colin did on occasions make me angry at times with his out bursts of jealousy and how he in between treated Ariel like she was at fault when she wasn't. But I loved that when he knew he had stuffed up and made a mistake and he worked hard to get Ariel to forgive him. Ariel yes she is sweet but in no way is she a doormat, i love how she makes sure that Colin knows he did something wrong. 4 Out Of 5 Hearts From Cariad Books
