The move reminded him of someone trying to approach a wounded animal. “You’ve got the weight of the world on your shoulders. I can help you with that. All you have to do is let me.”

“What do you mean?”

The smile she gave him hit him like a physical punch to the pit of his stomach. “Maybe it’s time you put that well-worn control into someone else’s hands. Come to my office after your set. I mean if you’re interested.” This time when she stepped toward him, he stayed rooted to the spot. He still found it difficult to look in her eyes. Damn, the tour had really worn him down along with everything else he’d had to deal with. “Look at me, Joseph.” As if her words were magic ones granting him permission, they were all he needed to shift his eyes to hers. He stayed still as she ran a nail along the line of his jaw. Dropping his gaze slightly, he studied the curve of her lips. The simple move made him rock hard as he glanced back into her eyes, and she gave him a look that could only be described as searching. “Come to me tonight after your set.”

“Who are you?” He wanted to touch her, his fingers practically burned with the urge—the need.

A moment of indecision flashed in her eyes before she suddenly seemed taller as she stood on her tip toes with the pose of a dancer. Joseph immediately wished that he had his notepad with him. She stopped a fraction from his lips, never looking away. “My name is Madame Tease.” The barest touch of her lips danced across his. “Have a good show tonight.”

Lilith Yee also known as Madame Tease is a Dommie and part owner of the Black Rose. Black Rose is a BDSM club. She has been too busy running the club and has not had a break in awhile. Joseph Hall is the lead singer of a group called Twisted Rope. He is tired beyond words and his muse that helps him write his songs is gone. He is at a loss at what to do and seems it takes all his effort to put one foot in front of another. The connection between Joseph and Lilith is blistering. You could almost see the connection when they see each other for the first time. It seems they each are the cure for the other. The sex scenes were intense. This book is very well written with a believable plot. The main and the secondary characters were interesting and appealing. At 40 pages long, this story had a well-defined beginning, middle and end.The ending of the story was a bit predictable but bearing in mind the overall length of the story, it was anticipated. Overall, this was a great story.

I have not read the previous books in this series but I did not feel like I needed to in order to follow Embracing the Tease. This was a quick, sexy read set in the BDSM club, The Black Rose. Club owner Lilith and lead singer Joseph are both need something that only Madame Tease, Lilith’s alter ego, can deliver. One night their paths cross at The Black Rose and Lilith recognises the need to let go in Joseph. She decides to shake off the responsibility of running the club solo and unleash her inner Domme, Madame Tease in order to help the tortured rocker. There is a vulnerability displayed by the characters and the new relationship between them feels honest and believable. This is a short, flirty read with a hint of BDSM, a hot rock star and a beautiful Domme.
