Night Owl Reviews
I enjoyed this one. The series keeps getting better with Death's Dirty Demands, the latest Chaos Bleeds book from Sam Crescent. Tis the season and the club is just recovering from the Gonzalez brutality as Devil and Lexie get up to some matchmaking for Death. Brianna had caught Death's eye even though she was trying to stay off the radar and make a place for herself in the club. They were attracted to each other but they needed a little push in the right direction. I was surprised at how sweet and romantic this story ended up being. Death and Brianna were a great couple. They were both unique in that Death waited for her, and how calmly Brianna reacted to the situation. They had fantastic chemistry (this is a Sam Crescent book after all), and some passionate sex scenes. The sweet part was how Death handled things with Brianna. He was patient and so romantic. The plot was strong even though the usual outside conflict was missing. This one was all about the romance and family. It was passionate and funny at times. It also had sub-plots with a situation developing involving Snake that I am hoping will play out in the next book. Then, not to forget, there is still some tension left to resolve between Tiny and Devil. A reckoning is down the road..... if Devil's son gets his way. Time and the pages flew by as I read this book. I recommend it with a warning that you will be addicted to this series.
