My mate is a strikingly beautiful Great Raven shifter. He is strong and tall, with a rugged charm born of the harsh mountain region he calls home. His irises are opalescent like moonlight on pearl, and his hair is long, dark, and wild with windswept waves. My gaze travels down his form and I appreciate the defined ripple of his muscles that lead to the swollen cock standing at half-mast between his thighs.

Taking a deep breath, I sigh. “It is not what you long to hear, I have no doubt, but I called for you because I need you. The realm needs you. The Five are going to declare war against the Chaos witches. There will be centuries of Unbalance ahead. And while it is not my place to stop it, I have a sacred quest which must be fulfilled if the future of Avalar is to be secured beyond such a time.”
Anger flashes in my mate’s eyes. “War?” he says. “Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit would defy the natural order of the Goddess? They reject the right of Chaos to rule?”
I nod, as saddened by the truth as Corben is angry. “I have foreseen it. The bloodshed will be unlike anything our realm has known since the dragons first came to these shores. But it is what must be. And I have been charged with casting a great spell upon myself in the hope that the Goddess’s Champion will be born when the time is right.”
“And how do I assist you in this task?” Corben asks, his brow furrowing.
“The most potent magic, the most powerful channel through which it can be born, is sex,” I answer. “It is raw, honest, and fueled by all the traits that make us who we are. Passion, desire, love—” I swallow again. “I need you to claim me so I may cast this spell. Without you, it cannot be done. It can be no man but my Fated Mate, and only he could have heard my call. Together, we are the instruments of Avalar’s salvation.”
Corben pulls me close, until his now erect cock presses against the thin fabric dividing us. “I will do anything you ask of me, my queen. I would protect you, die for you, and it would certainly be my deepest pleasure to fuck you.”

This is an entertaining paranormal romance book that holds your attention from beginning to end. The storyline is intriguing and dramatic as the elements unfold. The characters are well written with steamy chemistry together. I enjoyed this book.
Celestial Hearts is beautifully written, well balanced and perfectly executed by Author Faedra Rose. Celestial Hearts is the first book that I have read by this author and she didn’t disappoint whatsoever. I absolutely enjoyed reading this paranormal romance from start to finish. While reading this book, I realized that I didn’t want to put it down until I read the last page. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. I’m looking forward to reading more amazing romances from this author in the future. I would also encourage other readers to checkout this amazing book and give it a read.
I've read several books written by Faedra Rose; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is part of the Hearts of Avalar Series; it is a stand-alone short story. The story is about Maeve traveling back in time to save Avalar.

Meeting one's love is a joyous event; nothing is more glorious than solidifying that fact. But nothing last forever. They have their roles to play and they have planted the seed. I admire the MMC for his calm acceptance of his role and pride he takes in it.
Celestial Hearts, a Hearts of Avalar prequel, was fast spicy tale to introduce the series! Goddess Maeve, the Chaos Queen, needs to find her mate or the family line will die with her. Her fated mate, Corben, is a raven shifter. These two have an amazing chemistry that burns off the pages! Excited to read the rest of this series!
This is the prequel to the Hearts of Avalar story line and tells of a powerful Chaos witch named Maeve who is charged by the goddess with the task of saving the future of Avalar from the Five. To do this she must call her Fated mate Corbin the Raven shifter to join her so they can secure that future by the birth of a daughter that will continue the Chaos line into the future. The story is short and steamy and alludes to an somewhat uncertain and troubled future but also makes me want to see what happens next.
Part of the Hearts of Avalar, a short well written story with a very good storyline and strong characters in Maeve and Corben.
This is a prequel to the Hearts of Avalar series. If you read the series this will probably make you happy to see how it all started. If you haven’t read the series, like me, then it will make you curious and want to read the series. Either way it’s a great short book that hooks you from the beginning and the chemistry between Maeve and Corbin is super hot. Loved it ?

Fast paced novella, hot, steamy with lots of magic. Maeve is a witch that will need to mate so that she may carry on into the future. She calls out for her fated mate and a raven shifter shows up. Corben is her fated mate. They must make love to plant the seed of their future children. Maeve makes all the arrangements and then they are joined. He realizes that he must protect Maeve even if he must die. Will need to read the next story to continue in their lives to find out what happens. Would recommend to others.
