I absolutely loved the different authors' take on the "alpha finds a mate" premise and while in some cases, that realization was happily embraced, in others, there was a bit of a … struggle. Likes: As I read, I found myself re-ordering the stories from favorite to least and Doris O'Connor's "The Hunt" took an almost immediate lead followed by Maia Dylan's "Fated to the Razorback Demon", "Checkmate" by Wren Michaels, and Elena Kincaid's "Wolf Hunter". But I'm sure your list will be different, which is as it should be. Plus there's some great dialogue that will have you laughing out loud. Dislikes: For some reason the Table of Contents wasn't active in the Kindle edition I bought, which made it difficult to jump around and revisit stories. Would love to see that fixed. My absolute favorite though, would be The Hunt by Doris O’Connor. Raphael is a wolf shifter who finds his mate in a doe shifter named Aubrey. He saves her but finds out mating is not always easy, especially when a rival is involved.
