Night Owls Review
The unspoken rule about best friend's baby sisters keeps Lilly and Court apart for years, but they broke that rule once and the ripples are what did the real damage. Only they knew what they did, but the damage was slow and insidious due to Court's guilt. Once Lilly is attacked, the self-imposed barrier that Court erected is blow to smithereens and things are dealt with as they should have been years ago. Lots of lessons in this book. The physical relationship between Court and Lilly was toned way down compared to the other books. We had the beginning of the relationship and then a lot of patience while Lilly healed and Court dealt with his anger and aggression. When they do get back to being busy between the sheets, watch out. And romance is present biker style. This story has a rather graphic storyline that isn't as present in the other books. Violence is alluded to in the others, but this one deals intimately with what happens to Lilly and that might be a bit much for some. This series is totally addictive and just keeps getting better.
