Excerpt:

Standing by the window, I’m trying to take a lunch time customer’s order but my attention is caught by a bike riding in to the gas pump out front.

I hold my breath.

She is pretty much everything that I wish I could be.

Tall and lean. Enough fuck you attitude to tame a horde of marauding Vikings. She straddles that bike like she was born to it, like she never rode a trike. Like she just stepped right onto all that horsepower and with a flick of her wrists rode off into the sunset, giving everyone the finger as she went.

I would do just about anything to be on the back of that bike when she leaves this place.

She kicks the stand and moves the bike smoothly into its stationary position, slinging her long leg over the back wheel.

I jump a little when our eyes meet through the window. I’m supposed to be taking this guy’s order but I got distracted, seriously distracted. She smirks when her gaze roams over the redness in my cheeks.

Heat has suffused my body; a fine sweat has broken out on my skin and I know I’m in trouble. So much trouble.

I will start by saying that I am not into reading F/F books because I cannot relate for some reason. Since reading this short story and I am intrigued at what else author Rebecca Black can come with. While the length was short it did give you what you wanted from this… I won’t go into many details because It will give it all away but let me tell the scenes were hot and well written. I give this story 3 diamonds and it has helped me change my mind on this genre of books…

This was a well-written short story of lesbian erotica and the fact that I didn’t love it had nothing to with the talent of the author. I picked this story to review to try and widen my horizons by reading a genre I’ve never read before. I did learn one thing—lesbian sex is not my thing. In this story we have Mary Beth, a waitress in a small town who is very bored with her life. Then Jo rides in on her motorcycle and everything changes. The women are instantly hot for each other and fool around outside the diner before heading to Jo’s hotel room and messing up the sheets. The sex is well-written and hot. I’m sure fans of FF erotica will enjoy this one. However, I didn’t buy the ending. It’s more of a fairy tale ending than one grounded in reality.

This story is told in first person, present tense, something I have been known to struggle with when reading, but the author pulled it off relatively well. I learned a lot about the main character in a relatively short time, given the story is told entirely from her POV. I really liked her and felt for her predicament. I guess I was more understanding of her actions because of that. As they say desperate times call for desperate measures. The sex scenes were scorching hot! Melt your panties off hot! I’ve been known to cry foul when strap-on toys feature in FF erotica, and while one made an appearance in this story, I didn’t mind one single bit as it enhanced the ‘scene’ rather than being the scene… if that makes sense. I actually had a more difficult time trying to understand why a biker would travel cross country with such an item in her arsenal, lol. I’m not a fan of overnight insta-love, however as per above I understood Mary-Beth’s actions. Jo was sex on legs, and her ticket out of town and the shithole that had become Mary-Beth’s life, but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out Jo’s motivations. I suppose that is something that is left for the reader to surmise.

A Sexy, Exhilarating Ride

Poor Mary-Beth, she's stuck in a place that isn't very happy. She wants out, but her good for nothing father always seems to get in the way. You can't help but feel sorry for her. But little does she know that her getaway is about to roll into town. Jo is passing through on a pit stop but one look at Mary-Beth, and her plans take a slight detour. She is still planning on leaving, but she may be leaving with something special. This was a sexy, fast paced, read that captures your imagination from the start. Jo is a strong-willed individual that will take what she wants. I love her take charge, take no prisoners, attitude. Mary-Beth is scared and timid, believing that she could never have the happiness she desires. Together they are a match made in heaven. You have to love Jo's passion and determination to give Mary-Beth the happiness she craves. If Jo where to turn that passion, that smoldering look upon me, I wouldn't be able to say no to her. (Fans self.) And Rebecca makes a the thrill of the ride and intoxicating adventure I want to experience.

A Steamy Treat!

Wow! For being such a short story, this really gets the juices flowing! Mary-Beth takes each day as it comes, hoping that something better will come along and make her mundane life worth living. The day Jo walks into the diner where she works, is just the distraction she needs and desires. With her straightforward biker chick attitude, Jo makes no quarms in taking Mary-Beth by the hand and leading her onto a path of sexual awakening - which is exactly what she needs! Although only short, Rebecca manages to give a good bit of background knowledge about Mary-Beth which helped me better understand her actions. The scenes are well written and once Jo has been introduced, they become hot as hell. I really loved this and wouldn't hesitate to recommend for a bit of steamy afternoon reading ;)

I really enjoyed this story. I found it beautifully written, with credible and engaging characters, Mary-Beth especially. It is hot and heart-warming, a great short sexy f/f story.

Mary-Beth is existing, not living. Stuck in a small town, dead-end job and no good father, she's waiting for an escape. That escape roars into town in the form of Jo. Jo is everything Mary-Beth has dreamt of but how will the encounter pan out? This author has a unique way of writing. She makes me 'feel' every word, wonderfully descriptive and I felt as though I was actually in the story. A red hot erotic short story that I devoured in one sitting. She wants to be free but knows it will never happen, but the she stops by. Jo, who offers Mary-Beth the world with just one look. I have not read many f/f books and for anyone new to the genre this short is ideal.
